A very slow 2009 draft

The schedule is generally released a week or two before the draft (so 2nd or 3rd week in April)

Greg,

Can you ask Geoff when they will be ready for us to draft with rookies included?

As soon as they are ready I am sure lots of us will be more than ready to start the FF season.

If Geoff could set it up so we can start and stop our drafts after ___ number of rounds so we can do the four phase concept, I think that would be cool.

Does anyone know when the NFL releases their schedule? I cannot recall.

Thanks I'll talk to Geoff on Monday and figure this all out. 14-team NFFC Draft Champions Slow Drafts are going to be part of our off-season schedule this year as we are seeing a strong market for that in baseball. I know a lot of companies do slow drafts in football, but we'll be the only one to offer the 14-team, 26-round Draft Champions format and we'll do that early and often this year.

I meant to lay out the game plan for NFFC 2009 this week, but didn't for a number of reasons. I'll do that this week in a separate thread and ask for feedback. Nothing will be set in stone right away, but I think there is a workable game plan for 2009 that has potential. Thanks all.

Just to be clear about what I'm proposing.....I want to start immediately after the super bowl. The rooks can be involved in future drafts.

My idea is to draft a little in Feb...Mar...April...May and Aug.
