Your #1 Defense, NE scored for you 7 times and your #2, SF scored for you 8 times (one other week both scored 0's).

I think you'll be sacrificing those points 'sadly'.
The effects of best ball are deceiving. You had T.O. - he scored 237 points last year but if you would have removed him from your team it would have only cost you 111 points. Your 'next best' player each week would have made up 126 of his points.

T.O. was the #11 WR last year and only added 111 points to your team (BTW #11 WR costs about $27).

Billy beat you by 127 points at DEF. If you swapped D's with him you pick up 254 points on him (+127, -127).

The high standard deviation of Defensive scoring greatly increases the value of a 2nd or 3rd Def...good luck without them.

I'm still not worried. Baltimore will be better than both of those defenses I had last year.
Do you feel it is necessary for you to espouse your wisdom to him?

In other words, if you think you have an advantage in this game, why would you educate him and the rest of us on what it is?

Honestly, I don't get it.
There are many layers to Auction DC's that I won't discuss; however, I want everyone to recognize the value of the Def because I will never wait until the end and I don't want to have to be this annoying just to get this done (in most formats there isn't even time to do this).

If D's go for $2 at the end then I will not get the value that I am targeting.

Hope that clears things up.

Time to move on to Kickers.
