A slow auction
Could we compromise and say 10:30? I gotta get up really early each Monday morn.

Whatever you guys decide is OK with me. I'm having my brother check out this thread today. I hope he will fill one of the final spots.

10:30 PM and 3 minutes is OK by me (especially if it gets us our 13th owner)

Mike,
If you are in, I believe that we have 13 and just need 1 more.

A slow auction
I hate to open up another topic when we are so close to getting this moving but are we using a true DC format or because this is a very...early draft are we going to allow for free agent aquisitions?

Welcome! It is a true DC style format. That just has to been taken into account when bidding on a player (their security at their given position that is.) Send me your email address and I'll add you to the email list.
So for a recap of the rules.
1. Standard DC format with nffc scoring.
2. Players submitted along with the opening bid on Monday through Wednesday with auction starting Thursday.
3. Auction ends 10:30 eastern on Sunday evening with an automatic extension for 3 minutes if there is a bid. Auction for each player closes once there is not a bid placed for 3 consecutive minutes.
4. $208 auction cap per team.
5. Rookies will be bid on after the nfl draft. (There really isn't any way to value them yet not knowing what situation they will end up in.)
Sound good??? Let's get on more player and start this weekend. Once we get one more I'll need a KDS for nominating players. Billy really needs to be in this DC. It will require so little time and should be a blast.
