Waiver question

Post by Henry Muto » Sat Sep 13, 2014 3:38 pm

How come you are not allowed to drop players who played in Thursday's game if they are on your bench ? Never understood this the guy should be able to be dropped like anyone else who has not played for you.

Henry, you can only drop a Thursday player in the Cutline contest. And in that contest the player you pick up cannot be activated until the following week.

In all other contests with FAAB Thursday players are locked during Friday's waivers. Here is the information from our Rules on the site:

all NFL players competing in Thursday’s games can’t be picked up or waived on Friday. Those players are all LOCKED on Thursday and available in the next FAAB period on the following Wednesday.

I'm not really trying to be a jerk, but it sounds like it would be much work and probably costly to change in the software. My intention was to make you guys a little more attractive to bringing in new players thru having a different format (and one that does make a difference, i.e. 3rd Rd Reversal...just my two cents
