The following data was gathered by my people. Were the owners drafting in the last half of the draft at a disadvantage from the start? Answer = YES. These results are in-line with WCOFF results that I looked at last week. Where is the evidence that all draft slots are created equal?

Sample size = Top 50 teams overall

Results:
Avg draft slot of top 50 teams = 6.5 (a full 1 slot below the "norm").

# of teams that drafted 1-7 in the top 50 = 29
# of teams that drafted 8-14 in the top 50 = 21

Draft slot with the most occurrences in the top 50 = Draft Slot 1 with 8 owners

Could there be any inpropriaties due to the Monster 2 weeks for Priest and the injuries to several RBs????

Let's see, if Priest goes down, I would bet the number change too

Nice try, but doing this during the above mentioned senario is real tough. Why didn't you do research last week or the week before????? I guess the situation fit you for this week???

It will change thoughtout the year....
THANX

Please. It’s been 8 weeks already. Now you are complaining because Priest had 2 good weeks in a row. Who would have thought that Priest Holmes would have scored a lot of points this year????  Next EXCUSE!

And now for the incredible, competitive NY6

1st. Pocket Aces 6-2 1076.6 (Draft 14)
2nd. Kate & Halle 6-2 989.1 (Draft 4)
3rd. Jersey Paul 5-3 970.5 (Draft 12)
4th. Uncle Louie's Losers 5-3 927.3 (Draft 11)

Top Points. Jones Falls Terrrace 4-4 1113.2 (Draft 8)

Of course it matters, but having 14 guys that really hate each other makes a difference :D

THANX I have spoken with Greg and he has agreed that if Vegas Gambler wins his league, a Spell Checker will be added to that league's prizes. Thank you, Greg.

it's fun watching people try and respond to the draft slot issue. ALL of the evidence that i've looked at for both "high-stakes" events supports my claim that having an early draft slot puts an owner in a better position to win.

Gordon, my point is that the results were different even as of last week where it did not support your position. It will change by the end of the year.

Of course it matters, but having 14 guys that really hate each other makes a difference :D I don't hate anyone in our league JP! HOWEVER, I do hate their "players" when they decide to have "career weeks" against me! :D ;)
