I think the website pics should be updated to show the Champions pic holding the check and trophy. Let's give us our due. We were the best team last year, and I'd venture to say the best for many many years to come.

I think it may be about time for some new pics, but I would say so far the pics give the best management duo from last year their due. Lumpy's Losers are in two of these pics. The Losers won LasVegas2(finished 10th Overall), won the LasVegas Draft Champions, and won the LasVegas Auction. Competing directly against Gekko in the Draft Champions and Auction. I look forward to the competition for many years to come. Hope to have fun with you again at an auction Gekko.

Derek "Lumpy" Anderson hey lumpy - hope all is well with you. you guys are great players, as your record indicates. here's some things i remembered about your teams...

main event - you "lucked" out with getting culpepper in the late 2nd last year.

auction - i had the best record and most points in the regular season. you got hot in the H2H playoffs and that D.Carr non-fumble was what won it for you

DC - don't remember much about that. guess you guys had a good team

auction - ya, we'll have fun. this time at your expense. i got some tricks up my sleeve this year. watch and see

You are correct, it's time to update those photos. I'll get those up on Monday. My bad, but that rotation with the LV 2 "sticker girl" is going to have to stay for awhile. :D

"Luck" to some equals "Genius" to others.
Like picking up Droughns and Gonzo's Week 16.

I think the main reason we had success in main event was our pick of Shaun Alexander at #3. Had we chosen the popular opinion picks, we would have been sunk!

In the auction we were one game behind you in record(11-2 vs 10-3)and only 45 points less. About equal to me. We really wanted a shot at you in the Championship game. Was not meant to be!

You gonna be in Vegas?

Well said Lumpy! Funny how Gonzalez (3.13) and Muhammed (9.13) didn't last that that long in almost every other league, but Gekko and crew seemed to "luck out" getting them to slide to them at those positions. And the Droughns pickup is well documented too!

Gekko, you won the big one, CONGRATULATIONS!! but don't make excuses of why you didn't win other leagues. You made the excuse of losing Steve Smith and Reche Caldwell (Caldwell, that still makes me laugh!) in the Draft Champions and that is why you were 6th. You failed to mention that you "lucked out" by getting Brandon Stokely in the 15th round. Bottom line is you had a poor draft...... DEAL WITH IT!!!!

Be a winner Gekko, not a whiner!

It was interesting to chat with you on the MB and off-line, but your lies have caught up with you. Do you ever have a post that doesn't contain at least one lie?

Billy, be a honest person, not a liar. EVERYONE can see your lies and jealousy.

How am I lying, I was ASSUMING that Muhammed went earlier, but obviously I was mistaken. Evidently I was correct about Gonzalez as you didn't dispute that one.

And again, if you don't finish in the money, it is a poor job by MY standards. That is just my feeling. I finished 3rd in total points in NY Auction League, and lost in the first round of the playoffs, and therefore got ZERO $$. For ME, that was a dissapointment, and a poor job.

So why am a liar Gekko? Cuz I made a mistake about Muhammed? Cuz, I feel (that is called OPINION Gekko!) that finishing 6th out of 14th is a poor job? I was just trying to point out that you "lucked out" as much as anyone, but you have the nerve to say it about Lumpy because he beat you?

Sounds like you are the one who has jealousy issues Gekko! (even though you won the whole thing!)

If you strive to do the best at everything you do, then SURELY you can see my logic on why your 6th place finish in the Draft Champions was poor/dissapointing?

Muhammed's draft position was a mistake, it wasn't a lie. A lie (in our world) is INTENTIONAL, that statement was incorrect, and I fully admit my mistake.

People make mistakes inadvertently everyday, lying is intentional.....

Big difference Gekko! ;)

That being said, I will "try to be more careful" of my statements. !

Fair?
