Third Place determination

It's not clear to me in the rules how Third Place is determined within each league.

After First Place is determined by H2H, and Second Place awarded based on total points, how is Third Place determined? Is Third Place given based solely on total points, or is it determined based on H2H record with total points being the tie-breaker? Thanks!

3rd place = total points, after the 1st and 2nd place teams have been determined.

It's under the NFFC Prizes link, but you are right it should be spelled out clearer in the rules. We explain first and second in the Rules link, but need to make the third place finisher more clear.
