I'm still thawing out!!! As if sitting through that horsecrap game in 0 degree temperature wasn't bad enough, they had to go into overtime, too. Hell, I would have called it a draw and taken a tie at that point.
The worst part about close night games at Lambeau is that 70,000 people stay to the end because they're too cold to do anything else. And since Lambeau is in a residential area, the back roads can't handle everyone leaving at once. So a game that gets done at 11 p.m. allows you to get home at 1 p.m. Cold, tired and not enough to drink makes for a long, long night.
But it's a "W" and those have been hard to come by this year. We haven't played well at home since John Kerry was stumping in Wisconsin last year and called it LAMBERT Field. Honestly, he did.

Greg - last night, were you the guy in the stands with the "E" at the end of that shirtless-man line spelling out Favre?..SNAKE No, I'm too old to get my virgin skin exposed to the cold these days. I saw those guys and they were so tanked they couldn't have spelled their own names correctly. They had it spelled F-A-V-E-R most of the night.
I not only had my shirt on, I had longjohns, ski pants, two hats, three pairs of socks, two pairs of gloves and I didn't shave all week! I was prepared.
Of course, I also had plenty of beers and Dr. McGillicuddy's during the tailgate, so I was ready.
It definitely wasn't the coldest game I was ever at. In 1994 when they beat Oakland in December (the game Leroy Butler created the Lambeau Leap) it was so cold that your beer actually froze before you could finish it. The same thing happened in the NFFC Championship game in January of 1997. I sit 54 rows up and went down to the lower level and by the time I got up to my seat, our beers already had ice around the rim and was freezing up. Now that's cold!

Just out of principle, I'll never vote for any phony politician who doesn't even know that the famous football stadium in Green Bay, Wisconsin is called LAMBEAU Field!! C'mon!

John Kerry was born stupid and he's going to die stupid, regardless of how many libraries you put him in. Spends 4 months in Vietnam filming his presidential documentary, shoots himself a couple of times to get out, and then calls himself a veteran. What a piece of work.
Any man who doesn't know Lambeau Field isn't a man and that certainly applies to Kerry.
As for the updated scores, it's 7:45 A.M. Eastern time and mine haven't updated to include last night. You may want to wake STATS up this morning when you get the chance.
