When Do NFFC Bids Start For The Next Week?
Just an FYI from STATS this year that all bids are processed at 4 p.m. EST each Friday and announced within the next 20 minutes. We will then lock the bids for an hour after that and open up the next week's biddings at 5 p.m. on Friday. This gives NFFC owners more time to set their bids for the following week. In years past, we opened the bidding on Tuesdays, but this new setup allows owners to see the league's free agent lists for the following week and prepare accordingly. Good luck everyone.

As long as you and STATS are prepared for the venemous emails and calls from those who don't bother to read and think they are making bids for the current week.
Why not just move it to Monday and not have the confusion on Fri/Sat/Sun?

Greg, it doesn't seem as though the "early bidding" feature is working. Has STATS removed this capability?

Having the ability to bid on players the same day they were dropped was an upgrade over having to wait for 3 days. The excuse Cpt. Hook provided would encompass a small percentage of people, whereas the masses would enjoy the earlier bidding. Why should we have to wait until the games for the weekend are complete?

Free agents will be open for bidding at 5 p.m. EST on Fridays going forward. They have been opening on Tuesdays like past seasons, but since winning FAAB bids are announced each week around 4:15 p.m. EST on Friday, it makes sense to let all owners see next week's free agents as early as possible. Good luck everyone.
