Gore vs. Tomlinson .............

Post by D-Day Heroes » Mon Nov 20, 2006 9:52 am

I'm willing to bet my x-wifes house, that teams with Gore will win more Leagues than teams with Tomlinson. Here is my reasoning : If you Picked Gore, you paired him up with a top 13 or BETTER pick ; if you picked Tomlinson, you paired up with the 28th pick or worse. ( If you got both Tomlinson and Gore, you have to donate 1/2 your winnings to charity ). Anyway, if TCH is feeling up to it maybe he can get us some data on that one, hell, worse that can happen is my X loses her house, lol..!

As a Gore owner, I would MUCH rather have Tomlinson and practically anyone.

The gap isn't even close right now.

heros,

I get your point, but I am not sure you are factoring in HOW DOMINANT Tomlinson has been compared to the rest of the league. factor in it is not like everyone in the first round got steadily decreasing value first round RB's. Of the RB's to go in the first round more than half were busts. Making Tomlinson owners even more ahead of the game.

B-Waz, who was your #2 back, because if you paired Gore with Parker or Jackson, I would think you would be sitting pretty right now, Not ?

From the 6th spot I was lucky enough to get Gore at 3.6 after taking S Jax and Boldin. It has worked out so far and I have a shot at high points vs the Tomlinson owner. Anything is possible in this game.

D-Day: what you do want me to put together?

I will be doing a thorough study of all of the leagues prior to week 13 and then of the teams in the Championship Round before week 14 starts.

TC , I,m thinking guys that drafted Gore, with a decent 1st and 2cnd round pick, should compete strong with Tomlinson Teams, Anyway to get a read on something like that...??

Actually,

As a non-LT owner with a shot at the Championship Round, I hope a vast majority of the players in the Championship Round do have him. In a roundabout way, I think it increases my chances of having some success. (if I make it)

Does that make sense?

Yeah, I get that, If the Chalk runs out of the money , your sitting pretty. But even if he dosen't hit a wall the last 3 games I still think Gore owners with strong 1st and 2cnd rd. picks can take him. Remember also, if week 16 means nothing to the chargers , The Great Dane sits, BTW who is S D s' last 3 games against...?

I have Rudi and Westbrook as my #1-2 punch.

I am currently 17th, but am in SERIOUS danger of finishing with a small 5 in my pocket!

Obviously when you have them (along with Heap), SOMEWHERE is suffering, and that is CLEARLY my WR's.
