For those with children....

Post by GOD Loves You » Thu Dec 14, 2006 1:37 pm

We found out last week the Welsh family is going to have a new addition around July 7th. I was wondering, for those who have 3+ children, what is the best mode of transportaion? We have a daughter who is 17 months old and a son who is 9 yrs. old so we will need to accomodate 2 car seats and comfort for our son. We currently have a 4 door Ford F-150 Lariat Super Crew but want to get something larger. Right now we plan on purchasing the biggest Yukon we can find or a mini-van, yuck, :( . If anyone has an oppinion or suggestion we would appreciate the input.

GLY-My wife finally broke down and bought a Nissan Quest. It isn't bad for a dreaded Mini-Van.

Again, this is her car. lol

Congrats-3 kids here as well 6, 3 and 2.

Another "family" car I hear good things about is the Chrysler Pacifica. It's a cross between a mini-van and a station wagon, and has some nice features.

congrats GLY! Allow me to chime in, we've been driving the Chrysler Town and Country for the past 3 years for our 3. Roomy as hell. Both rows of seats fold into a bay creating a huge hollowed out shell. I personally liked the Pacifica myself but it wasnt big enough for the 5 of us. Yeah MVs suck but choot, whatcha gonna do.

Congrats!!

We have Toyota Sienna Deluxe and like it a lot. Whatever you get, make sure to get sliding doors that open on both sides via remote control. It's amazing how that one feature makes things 100x easier.

We hade to give away Honda Odyssey it was so bad. Only 11 mpg.
Jules is a Dirt bag and makes my luck.
