Hey Guys...
I was wondering...Is Tuesay's DC/Auction the first of it's kind? If it is, BWAZ has come up with a brilliant format. The best of both worlds. I'll be altering a few things in my fantasy signups next year, and if there are a few of these types of satellites, I will most likely signup for more than one. This is a GREAT idea.
Now we know LT2 will go for the most money in this draft. Who wil be the second highest priced player? Most likely Gore/S.Jax/S.Alex. or L.J...But does anyone think a RB is out there who will surprise us and come in as the second or maybe even 3rd highest prices, that wasn't mentioned here?
Bring on the Auction debates guys.

Yeah I'm in the draft on tuesday and I do think it is the first of its kind. Its going to be interesting managing your money in the pursuit of 26 players instead of the standard 18.
Good luck on tuesday Diesel. Should be a fun draft with a great group of owners.

Good Luck to you too da bears...Tuesday can't come soon enough.
Every draft is different. AUCTIONS especially. I believe Gates will have a difference of about $5 betwen certain league this year, because of the amount of OTHER TE's coming into their own now.
There are so many different strategies in the Auction formats...I've got mine for Tuesday, and I'm going to try and stick with it the whole way. We'll see how it goes, and whether the rest of you let me flow with my strategy.

We did this same type of Auction/DC format last year, but hats off to Billy for getting this going again. It truly is the best of both worlds. We all get to sharpen the auction axe and then the lack of maintenance when you already have a bunch of teams is a major plus.
I would guess SJax and Gore/Addai in the second and third highest spots, but if I had to pick a wild card I would say Bush. There are a lot of people that want some bush.

I just might dip my head into some Bush on Tuesday night depending on the ramifications. There's always a price to pay for a little Bush, one way or another.
See you guys/gals on Tuesday. I see some BIG names on this signup league. AGAIN, I seem to be the underdog here.

Snake, Gates will go between $21-$26 in the Auctions. That's the $5 difference I was talking about...If/when that happens, you can buy me an Amstel Light next year in Tampa.

Fellas(and Lady...Jules),
In addition to playing in this event tomorrow, I've been asked by Tom and Greg and George Prado to moderate and be commissioner at the same time.
With the players we have signed up for this league, I don't think we'll have any problems, but if there is, George Prado should be giving me an email/call very soon and giving me a crash course. I've run a bunch of cbs.sportsline drafts and this can't be much different.
I ask that everyone be a little patient with me, if any problems occur, as I'll do everything I can to keep it flowing. It's going to be a long draft as it is, being a 26 round auction, so I ask everyone to please queue your players, or at least stay by your PC's and be ready for your turns. If I have to backtrack, I will learn from George how to do that, but I'm hoping to get through the draft without having to do that.
Anyone that has done a satellite on fantasyauctioneer.com knows that the site is NEAR flawless. But there have been occassional problems. I'll handle it. What I'm going to ask George to do is give an extra second to everyone to put up their player for bid. That seems to be a problem every now and then. I'll also ask that he add a half second to the timer on the bid clock. I believe this will make the draft flow better.
IF anyone has a problem, I ask that they IMMEDIATELY write "PAUSE", so I can stop the draft befroe more guys are bought and people get bitter because I have to backtrack after they bought the next player...This sounds like a lot, but it's not. I just ask that everyone be prepared, and I'll be ready for whatever I need to do, on top of playing in the auction too.
Please PM me if you have any questions...Tomorrow night, I'll post my cell number in the fantasyauctioneer.com draft room, so if anything happens, I can let you know what's going on, but keep in mind,if something does go wrong, I MAY have 13 people calling me at the same time...lol
Once I get in touch with George Prado, I'll let you guys/girls know what I know, okay?
It won't be different from any other draft. Except instead of busting on Tom K., you'll get to bust on me instead...LMAO
