Greg,
Hadn't heard anything in over a month on the status of the content panel. It did come up in conversation at one point at Hooter's after the draft, but Tom's reaction did not seem very optimistic.
Any word on the progress?

A content panel party would be SWEET!!!
Fisher's suite might win out on this one, as though I heard very little about it, it may trump the rest of these options!

If I can swing the time, and Fi$her is entertaining again next year, Vegas looks like it may be in the lead right now for "BWAZZ 08"!

Any word on the progress? Yeah, unfortunately our deal didn't get done in time to do all the things we wanted to do editorially online. Tom and I were extremely bummed about that, but the bottom line is that both parties are still hammering out the contract and there is renewed hope that we'll get this done shortly. While it won't help the NFFC for 2007, the plan is to create the NFFC Content Panel for 2008 and do everything we talked about next year. That would include the first player rankings for 2008 by Tom, myself and our 20 Content Panel specialists.
We have been quiet because lawyers have taken WAAAAAY too long to get this done. But if all works out, we'll debut in baseball and have a format that will expand the NFBC's and NFFC's reach in many, many ways. It could be VERY exciting.
Stay tuned. You never know how these things will go.
Oh, and any Content Panel Party will be done in Las Vegas!!!

Greg, I'd like an advance on next year's potential content panel's salary. I had the opportunity to be a Senior Junior Assistant to the Assistant of executive sports writing for the NFL, but I turned it down because I thought I may have a chance to make the NFFC content panel. They said I was crazy for turning down the job, but I told them that they'll see how the NFFC booms. That salary was $101K a year for 52 weekly NFL columns. So if it's not too much trouble, please send me an advance of a few months in unmarked $5 bills via Fed-Ex. And please don't tell me that I have to wait for your lawyers to sort out my contract, because then I'm really in trouble. LMAO

 I hear the old unmarked $5 bills can be bleached and turned into old $100 bills, so you'll probably want those old 5's not the new colorized ones.
