I'm wondering why defenses get charged points when the offense throws a pick 6 or there is a fumble returned for a TD?? The defense nor special teams gave up those points so why should they get charged for giving up those points?? I know in some other leagues they are not charged the points. Can anyone answer my questions??

They do get charged, as that is the way it is.
