A method to limit the number of people who quit.
I really think that each league should have a playoff (starting next season) at the end of the season just like the auction leagues. Top three record and points make the playoffs. The same selection criteria is used after week 13 to see who is in the NFFC race for the title. The individual league playoffs occur simultaneously with the NFFC chase. The winner of the playoffs get the 2,500 that now goes to the winner of best record vs. most points.

That does nothing to limit the number of teams who quit - they aren't making the top six either way.

Still doesn't solve the problem as that still leaves SIX bottom teams.
I guarantee that 99% of the teams that quit" are still in this bottom six.

All I am saying is lets keep as many 19 year old women from committing suicide as possible. OK...perhaps that was too dramatic and way, way off topic. But, you get my point....better to have less teams that quit and those that do doing so in week 12 or 13 as opposed to week 6 and 7.

How about this?
Instead of the top 2 teams competing for a $2500 league title...Make it for $2000.
Then, have the rest of each league(not in the 100K playoffs) have some sort of playoff for $500. Something that would include their weekly avg. during the season. This would help make sure everyone starts the best possible lineup every week.
