Satellite question
From the Satellite Rules page:
14. League Structure: Each league will consist of 14 teams competing in a head-to-head format for the league championship. Teams will play every other team in their league once in head-to-head competition, with the team with the best overall record and the team with the most total points (not counting h2h champion) earning playoff spots. The team with the next best record and the team with the next highest total points also advance to the playoffs. The four playoff teams from each satellite league will carry their weekly scoring average from the regular season into the playoffs and add that to their totals from Weeks 14, 15 and 16 to determine the top three finishers in each league. Each $250, $500 and $1,000 Satellite League will pay back entry fees to the regular season head-to-head champion and the total points leader after Week 13.
15. Tie-breaker procedures: If after 13 regular season games, teams are tied for first place, second place or third place, the following tiebreakers will be used in this order:
Total points through 13 weeks
Head-to-head won/lost record (if three or more teams, it's cumulative wins against those common opponents)
Highest point total from Week 13
Highest point total from Week 12
Highest point total from Week 11
Coin toss
This procedure is for determining the head-to-head champion and the league total points leader.
If after 13 regular season games, teams are tied for fourth place in total points, the following tiebreakers will be used in this order:
League record
Head-to-head won/lost record (if three or more teams, it's cumulative wins against those common opponents)
Highest point total from Week 13
Highest point total from Week 12
Highest point total from Week 11
Coin toss

Correct, top 4 teams after Week 13 advance to the playoffs and three of them will earn money after Week 16, depending on points scored in Weeks 14-16.

RC, good question as it is an Auction and a Sat and they have different rules. I prefer the 4 teams getting in and the total points over the actual H2H playoffs but that could favor Greg's powerhouse team.

I thought I recall them saying it was going to be setup like the auction format (6 teams - BR, TP, TP, TP, BR, BR).
Then again, I am in so many leagues, it might just be 4 teams.

KP Auction league was set up as a 6 team playoff, just like the regular auction league...
But what does it matter, with Greg's team in the league? They're all on ROIDS!!

Greg, just curious why wouldn't you set up playoffs in all leagues the same.. i think the 6 team playoff is very good, and you could just take total point leaders after week 13 into the main event tournament.. you then keep more people involved in regular leagues and keep the main event full of teams who get in strictly on their draft and free agent skill rather then head to head skill.. have u tossed that around?

Greg, Didn't you bash me during one draft when I picked Favre as my first QB?
