Rob,

I know they originally mentioned Dallas a few years back, but now that WCOFF is there, they may consider somewhere else.

I think New Orleans would be a great choice, but considering the the NFFC draft is during hurricane season, I am sure that is a major drawback.

If they are trying to "spread it out", something in Texas does make a lot of sense.

You would have East, West, Midwest, and South represented.

Then of course in 2012, they could have it in Iola, Wisconsin to represent the "North"!

It can be at Greg's house in his front yard! :D

A trip to Tunica, Corky's, and Beale Street would be a nice change of pace! :D

Wayne I had Corky's and Rendevous within two days of each other and preferred Corky's myself.

That being said, I had a big lunch and wasn't as hungry before my Rendevous ribs, so I might need another shot at those! :D

As I told Billy before his trip, both Corky's and Rendevous have become so big and mass produced that they no longer serve REAL Memphis BBQ. You've got to have a local take you to the "hole-in-the-wall" places to get the real taste now.

The World BBQ Championship was just completed yesterday here in Memphis on the banks of the Mississippi, and man was that an incredible time. What a combo: Cold beer, slow cooked ribs/shoulders/whole hogs, and young women in shorts & tank tops bathing in the sunshine. Who could ask for anything more?
