Desean lost a point last week for a fumble on a punt.If he can not get points for running back the punt for a TD.Why should he lose a point for a fumble? If special teams stats do not count for a player I would think that would include all special team stats.

he shouldn't have lost a point for a fumble on a punt return. unless the rule changed.
Is my "weekend warrior" prep better than your prep?

I thought the same thing, how can you penalize a guy on ST for a fumble but not reward him for a TD?
Greg, what is the rule on this ? If the above is true it certainly should be changed next season.

from the Rules..."Also, any lost fumble or "muff" on a specials team play does not result in negative points for that individual player."

i happen to remember this thread and decided to check d.jackson's score as it reads now for week 4.
5 rec for 71 yards, 1td, and 35 rushing yards.
points-wise---> 5 + 7.1 + 6 + 3.5 = 21.6 pts. STATS has him at 20.6 pts (likely due to the fumbled punt). i'm assuming his score won't be changed now that it's after the deadline.

To put an early deadline before scoring accuracy really upsets me.
Unbelievable.
I know it's mainly due to setting up the post season on time...but it still should be a day or day and a half later.
The waiver argument is a weak one IMO.
ANY reasonable petition should extent the "official results".
