Tampa League 1

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Sun Aug 26, 2007 6:11 am

The NFFC’s main event will be held at the Tampa Convention Center starting at 1 p.m. EST on Saturday, Sept. 1st. Everyone should be in the draft room at least 20 minutes beforehand as we will start EXACTLY at 1 p.m. There will be one break after round 9 and we’ll finish after the 18th round. Good luck everyone.

Remember that this year we will be featuring 3RR (Third Round Reversal) in the main event. That means we’ll start out 1-14 in Round 1, 14-1 in Round 2 and 14-1 again in Round 3. Serpentine continues in Round 4 as 1-14, 14-1, etc. through Round 18.

Tampa will feature 42 teams consisting of 3 full leagues. Below is the draft order for Tampa League 1:

LEAGUE 1
1. John Piontek, Orlando, Florida
2. Corey Killmer, Tampa, Florida
3. Joseph Maggio, Key West, Florida
4. Joseph Smith, Bradenton, Florida
5. Ira Kerker, Boca Raton, Florida
6. Marc Meltzer, Jupiter, Florida
7. Mark McCauslin, Venice, Florida
8. Jeffrey Potok, Lake Worth, Florida
9. Hank Cantrell, Raleigh, North Carolina
10. Scott Gunaca, Romulus, Michigan
11. John Kistler Jr., Vero Beach, Florida
12. Dennis Rielly, Charlotte, North Carolina
13. Russ Steele, Shelbyville, Indiana
14. Alan Narz, Orlando, Florida

#1 pick blew it BIG TIME in this league. Could've had the 100k team and threw it all away.

What is your team? I drafted by phone from the 9 hole and did not have time record everyone's picks. I was a little surprised to be picking by backup QB before some teams got their starter.

I did pass on Carson Palmer and you may be right about that decision's impact on my team. Despite an unimpressive preseason, I project Lynch to be a potential star. I was planning on taking Big Ben and qb and think that he will thrive this year but he went immediately before my round 7 pick. I went in with a gameplan and followed that gameplan to a tee. Time, as it always does, will determine if and to what degree that plan was flawed. I respect your input.

GLY,

Given the value left on the board I thought for sure you were going to take Driver or one of the top 3 qbs.
I have #1 in WCOFF, even though it's 12 teams with no 3rr I was looking to see how #1 here developed. Qb's go later in WCOFF as they as less valuable there.

Looks like pretty balanced league.

UFFC, you guys wore Indy jerseys but you drafted 3 NYG in first 6 rounds. Is Peyton swapping teams with Eli? or do you think G men are offensive juggernaut
