Ok, let's face it... I'm trying to kill the next 48 hours however possible. So I thought I would take a look at everyone in our league and wee how we've all done over the years in the NFFC. Believe me, I know full well this means nothing for 2008, but like I said, I'm killing time here

Here's what I came up with:
Years played in NFFC:
4 - Cameron, Childs, Eliason, Borg
3 - Lightfoot, Viveros, Steeves, Wieland
2 - Foster
1 - Patel, Goldstein, Segura
0 - Ashy
Pretty good mix of NFFC experience... does it mean anything? Probably not.

Best Overall Regular Season Finish:
22. Shawn Childs
24. Steve Lightfoot
34. Scott Wieland
50. Bret Borg
73. Darren Eliason
80. Tom Foster
82. Duke Viveros
84. Jason Steeves
88. Michael Cameron
101. Ken Norred
142. Jose Segura (1 year)
205. Nihil Patel (1 year)
240. Larry Goldstein (1 year)

Average Overall Regular Season Finish:
93. Tom Foster
104. Shawn Childs
137. Scott Wieland
140. Bret Borg
140. Steve Lightfoot
142. Jose Segura (1 year)
145. Duke Viveros
164. Ken Norred
182. Michael Cameron
196. Jason Steeves
205. Nihil Patel (1 year)
225. Darren Eliason
240. Larry Goldstein (1 year)

Again, does any of this mean anything? No.

I will say that Shawn has had 3 very good finishes (22, 29, 55). I officially claim him as the man to beat

It is also interesting to note we have ALL had a miserable finish mixed in over the years in the NFFC. Should be a very competitive league. Look forward to seeing you all in a few days.

You know what intersting about that is: in 2006 I drafted two teams. The team with my name as owner came in 133rd overall. The second team was horrible and came in 308th. If you reverse the teams, I'd rank 3rd overall and average about 60th place.

Seeing how you beat me last year, I have you as the favorite. Then again I was beatin soundly by Bret and Nancy Borg in one event before so maybe they are the favorites. That dam KNL Roto guy is going to win $40,000 in baseball so you better watch out for the Alabama guy. I see a lot NFFC vets who will be tough to beat this year. It should be fun.

I didn't know that about your 2006 teams, even more impressive.

I BARELY held you off last year. You had a great team. I just hope my team stays healthy.

Cool stats you put together CC. Would love to win it all, but would be very happy coming in between 50-80 this year.

The hours have seemed to go by slower since I got my draft league and spot though...

Guess I'm not the only one that feels that way?
Projection 2010: Either winning my Classic LV/Chicago Dual League, or making it to the Catalina Wine Mixer.

Funny how I've come to like the 6th spot. Before I got my draft spot, I focused on spots 1, 2, 3, 10, 13, and 14. But these last few days have me ready to go at 6!! :D

Any feelings about ya'lls draft spot? Or what your main focuses were in the draft order before you found out where you would be drafting?
