Hey Guys, it's been quiet in here, I thought I would bump this to the top. It seems like we have a very competitive league, injuries has cause a couple teams to bottom out, but I am sure they will come back when thier starters do.

Vegas,

Congrats on your 4-0 start. I had one poor week leaving me 3-1, but this week I play a tough team (She hate me) who's 4-0 and a point machine while I have T. Owens on a bye.
It's gonna be a tough week, EVERYONE will have to come up big for me and I'll need Moe Williams who is questionable (today) to play and get me 10-15 points because it doesn't look like R. Dayne is going to be the back I thought he would this year.

Yeah, our league has been kinda quiet on all the boards.

We don't play each other till week 11. Bye weeks will be over and we should both be at full strength barring injury to our studs.

So far I'd have to say that the Free Agent Roster Adjustments have been my achilles heel. I made an outrageous bid for R. Caldwell which actually was a mistake I didn't catch before hand. It may turn out to be okay, but we'll have to see.

How do you see our league shaping up?

John

Hey John,

We are very balanced right now. The lower teams were hit at least twice by the injury bug. This league will come down to the final weeks. Nobody is going to run away with it.

On a lighter note (or more nerve racking), I had a crappy weekend, but 2 great performances by Bulger and Barber have me up 51 points on Team Jensen We are both 4-0 and he has Walker, Mason and Meier going tonight. I am hoping for a low scoring game . GO DEFENSE!!!!

Jennings, talk about a second half, I fell asleep early 3rd quarter and your 3 guys scored a total of 9 points. Imagine my worry when watching Sportcenter this morning :( It was a very close game...

I would like to announce that I no longer need to drop anymore good players because of our small roster size. I'm about finished with my byes and no longer will be giving away free "gifts" to other teams.

Sorry, it was a little slow, thought I would liven it up a bit

Vegas,

I don't know how you are 6-0 with 801 points (I mean I can read, but I just don't understand it) After a decent StL QB and 3 very good RBs I just can't believe that you are in first place.

I'm impressed. I though I was doing it with smoke and mirrors. I hope you are right though (about coming down to the last week or two. You are two games and 78 points ahead of me. You are all done with your byes you say?

Everyone underrated Bulger, I hate him but in the 6th, I had to take him and that was my exact reaction when I did draft him. I have 4 undesputed starting RBs, a good defense and kicker. My WRs are second level on passing teams. If I had a good TE, I would be doing much better. If you look, most of my wins were very close. I have the 5th most points scored sgainst in our league.

I am finished with my Byes except for Bulger, I have Collins or Vinnie to back him up.
