Drafting from the #3 spot, the only decision I'm rethinking right now was taking Plaxico Burress at 3.3 instead of Warrick Dunn. We'll see...if I can get good production from Mike Bell or Ahman Green then that decision will prove to be OK for me. I'm not totally enamored by my team but not sure if anybody is in a 14 team league.

much RB2 depth as anyone ... but if it was me, I would've jumped on M Turner before #1 took him since an LT injury could end your season.

I guess that's why we play the games...because we all have healthy teams (ok, maybe Roethlisberger is a little challenged). Bush was a stretch for my first RB, but I saw some amazing things happen last year (and I don't really mean what Bush did in college...I mean injuries play such a huge role in the way things shake out...and surprises like Steve Smith and Joey Galloway are unpredictable).
Comments to KofQueens...I live in Atlanta and actually like Jerious Norwood to play a lot this year...and down near the goal-line I expect Justin Griffith to get a lot of work. Warrick is a great man, but I don't think he will do as well this year. I had Burress last year and I predict he either has a GREAT year or he gets run out of the NFL in a couple of years. Lots of talent, but takes a lot of plays off. I think you should have grabbed Chester Taylor or Dominick Rhodes, but who knows.
My only complaint about drafting #14 was that I didn't get a shot at an Auburn running back...still smarting over Cadillac dropping to #13...next year I wear something non-Auburn. I'm surprised KJ Duke took the time to come up with rankings. Are you in the league, KJ?
Looking forward to a great year and, hopefully, a nice rookie season for Misters Bush and Pope.

Bush will be one of the more interesting guys to watch fantasy-wise. I think he could end up being worth anywhere from a 1st rd pick to a 5th rd pick.

Robert...
Sorry about Caddy, but I would have taken him if you were wearing an Alabama shirt. To be honest, it took me by surprise when he was sitting there. I had prepped for about five different guys to choose from, and Williams was not one of them. I thought he would go 2 or 3 spots sooner. Was not expecting Manning and 3 WR's to go early. I was figuring on being more or less forced to take WR/WR in first two rounds. Wound up with the value at RB instead. Had to go with the quality that was left and rolled the dice with Westbrook. Was tempted to go FWP but thought it was too high...looking at other boards, it looks loke a lot of folks had that idea and acted on it.

By the way, preseason polls are fun to read. Will be interesting to see how your rankings hold up KJ. Always good to be confident in your own team I suppose. Can't say I agree with your reasoning though.

btw, I like your receiving corps for where you pulled them ... you grabbed 3 guys that I had targeted after the turn came back my way. Nice upside with a lot of guys on your team.

I meant the rankings. Across the board, especially in a 14 team league, it is hard to fill a starting roster without having some holes or at least a potential for pproblems. I won't list 'em all, but based on your top tiers IMO:

Team 1
Big Ben/Rivers at QB could be big trouble. I'm a Steeler fan, but Ben is an iffy #1 qb. Also, D-Jax and his knee could be trouble all season.

Team 10
have to to say I like your McNabb pick - I was all set to scoop him up. I'm not thrilled with any part of the Skins O at all. I think Moss and Cooley were overvalued.

Team 11
Every year is supposed to be the year of Mike Vick...I'm just not feeling it. I also am not buying into the pre-season Kitna hype. I'm not a Jamal Lewis fan, and I think Julius jones will be in the RBBC all year, so the RB's could be a problem. Nice Depth at WR.

I'm not putting any of these teams down, just pointing out factors that could put them in first place or last place just as quickly.

BTW in looking at my own team, I certainly can't forecast a world beater. About the most I can say I have going for me is I got some nice value picks. Hard to be confident with Westy as a starter!

I just can't look across the board and see enough distinction to rank the teams just yet. After this weekend, when I'm bleeding from the eyes after NFL overload things might look a little clearer. Looking forward to a great season!
