It would be working better if 2 of my 7 picks weren't "bad picks" including my first rounder. I did not help this little test with my picks and honestly, this four week thing, done at this time of the season means very little if anything.

Will any useful information come from this mock draft combined with 4 weeks of playing it out?

I think the draft showed some of the possibilities for the late picks though I do not think this data will be of much use for the selling of this idea to the masses next year.

I do think it will be easy to create the necessary "package" for selling this idea next year to the masses. A couple of pages in each magazine and you will have the newest trend in FF being led by the NFFC.

(1) no one who drafted is complaining that it was unfair
(2) many who drafted have said they think it is more fair and/or more interesting/fun
(3) the results, though less meaningful than a full season, are showing that the lge is more balanced even though LT is still scoring big
(4) the theory that middle slots were bad is being disproved by: a) they were not thought of as inferior per drafters KDS preferences, and b) are playing out accordingly

I would rank your list 1-4-3-2 in order what matters most.

The results are not as important as the level of fairness in the this draft.

The most important thing is still that the top picks now have the same tough decisions as the other picks have always had instead of this incredibly easy template in which to build a team around.

For that reason right there, I'm changing to 3rr in UFS next year. It creates a more even playing field.

I don't think the numbers are skewed just because of one owner.

If your theory holds true, then you have to throw out all the bad drafts from the main event data :D

So the "wounded" 4-5-6 slots placed 3 of the top 4.

Very interesting...

In all fairness, those are the better drafters.
A lot of the other folks are newbies.

I'm keeping an eye on the Snake/Gekko showdown.
