Chicago League 1

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Sun Aug 26, 2007 6:02 am

The NFFC’s main event will be held at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott starting at noon CST on Saturday, Sept. 1st. Everyone should be in the draft room at least 20 minutes beforehand as we will start EXACTLY at noon. There will be one break after round 9 and we’ll finish after the 18th round. Good luck everyone.

Remember that this year we will be featuring 3RR (Third Round Reversal) in the main event. That means we’ll start out 1-14 in Round 1, 14-1 in Round 2 and 14-1 again in Round 3. Serpentine continues in Round 4 as 1-14, 14-1, etc. through Round 18.

Chicago will feature 84 teams consisting of 6 full leagues. Below is the draft order for Chicago League 1:

LEAGUE 1
1. Chris Masoner, Cincinnati, Ohio
2. Tom Spinoso, Madison, Wisconsin
3. Jim Jensen, Fairchild, Wisconsin
4. Scott Stauffer, Naperville, Illinois
5. Glen Brien, Woodridge, Illinois
6. Mark Koester,Michigan
7. Erik Duerschmidt, Two Rivers, Wisconsin
8. Jeffry Schwartz, Janesville, Wisconsin
9. Michael Makula, Chicago, Illinois
10. Kevin Brown, Norman, Oklahoma
11. Keith Carbone, Hawthorn Woods, Illinois
12. Daryl Hodges, Delta, Ohio
13. Paul Clein, Germantown, Tennessee
14. Michael Welp, Indianapolis, Indiana

Hiya Perry, nice to see ya agin and thx! Vegas for the WCOFF is a tradition much like Chicago has been for me in the NFFC. Actually going to stay onsite there for a change, not sure about the off strip thing but then again Vegas isn't going anywhere and the draft is only once a year...lol. How about you, where are ya staying and are you making two seperate drives or just making a week of it for both events?

I too will be staying at South Point for the weekend.

Am driving up next weekend for NFFC and then back and then not sure whether flying or driving back up for longer second weekend. Look forward to seeing you there. Will you be in on Thursday to see us bidding after the game?

I'm getting on Wednesday and will most certainly watch you in action. Pulling for ya to take home the bacon in that event, you are most certainly deserving of it imho.

This is the official order for Chicago League 1. We reapplied KDS to get the order correct. Good luck everyone.

I greatly enjoyed meeting everyone on Saturday. It's nice to put a face with the name. Makes the cost of a live draft worth it.

Scott...your two early-TE strategy will be interesting to watch as the season unfolds.

Good luck everyone!
