Chicago League 4
The NFFC’s main event will be held at the Chicago Oakbrook Marriott starting at noon CST on Saturday, Sept. 1st. Everyone should be in the draft room at least 20 minutes beforehand as we will start EXACTLY at noon. There will be one break after round 9 and we’ll finish after the 18th round. Good luck everyone.
Remember that this year we will be featuring 3RR (Third Round Reversal) in the main event. That means we’ll start out 1-14 in Round 1, 14-1 in Round 2 and 14-1 again in Round 3. Serpentine continues in Round 4 as 1-14, 14-1, etc. through Round 18.
Chicago will feature 84 teams consisting of 6 full leagues. Below is the draft order for Chicago League 4:
LEAGUE 4
1. Terrance Mailloux, Kitchener, Ontario, Canada
2. Doug Berry, Plover, Wisconsin
3. Rob Benetti, Mokena, Illinois
4. Brent Grooms, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin
5. Nolan Langford, West Bloomfield, Michigan
6. Jason Lundquist, Middleton, Wisconsin
7. James Patterson, Albany, Indiana
8. Dennis Cassidy, Lee's Summit, Missouri
9. Scott Grubbs, Sterling Heights, Michigan
10. Jeff Clampitt, Mooresville, Indiana
11. David Blake, Mokena, Illinois

Jeff made a comment way back about how many of the good drafters were leaving Chicago this year. I reminded him that TCH would be in Chicago again, and he suddenly sobered up.
Love it!

Sweet! We gets another shot at the champ!
That is too cool.
We'll be at the table with last year's trophy in the middle.
Jeff Clampitt and Dennis Cassidy?
The Beverly Hillbillies vs. The Brady Bunch?
That's league 4 baby!
I sense an interesting side-bet or 2 coming.

Rob is the defending champ but this is a new season. I've got 13 opponents to get past in this league and you all have my utmost respect.
Good luck to all and I look forward to making a few new friends.

This'll be fun.
Projection 2010: Either winning my Classic LV/Chicago Dual League, or making it to the Catalina Wine Mixer.

Jeff, Dennis and the rest of the gang, you all shoud be glad to see my name in your league as there is no way I can make the Championship Round three years in a row. My luck has to run out sooner or later.
Having said that, I feel I am more prepared than ever this year and will try my darndest to do the impossible. Repeat as Champ.
Doug, are you a Chiefs fan? Just curious.
David, I cannot believe there is another person from Mokena in the challenge let alone our league. What are the odds? (actually 1 in 6 but it still seems weird) Give me a call 708-259-7278 and I will help you thru this draft.
Note: I have a suite for Friday night and drinks are free for all of you with a 12 drinnk minimum.

This is the official order for Chicago 4. We reapplied KDS to get the order correct. Good luck everyone.
