Tampa League 2

The NFFC’s main event will be held at the Tampa Convention Center starting at 1 p.m. EST on Saturday, Sept. 1st. Everyone should be in the draft room at least 20 minutes beforehand as we will start EXACTLY at 1 p.m. There will be one break after round 9 and we’ll finish after the 18th round. Good luck everyone.

Remember that this year we will be featuring 3RR (Third Round Reversal) in the main event. That means we’ll start out 1-14 in Round 1, 14-1 in Round 2 and 14-1 again in Round 3. Serpentine continues in Round 4 as 1-14, 14-1, etc. through Round 18.

Tampa will feature 42 teams consisting of 3 full leagues. Below is the draft order for Tampa League 2:

3. Jeff Tirabassi, West Henrietta, New York
4. Bill Hare, Cumming, Georgia

7. Jason Emma, Plymouth, Pennsylvania
8. Gary Oates, St. Augustine, Florida
9. Traci Ward, Sanford, Florida
10. Brad Taylor, Dunwoody, Georgia
11. Ted Baehman, Deerbrook, Wisconsin
12. Rick Hart, Homestead, Florida
13. Danny Dietrick, Celebration, Florida
14. Shawn Bryant, Largo, Florida

First time for everything! I've never had a #1 pick in 5 years of playing. BTW, I'm a Bolts fan so it makes it even better. LT and then maybe Gates.

Tamu- Were you Dark Side of the Moon/Pink Floyd in 2005 (Chicago). I was Clinton Street Steagles.
I believe we finished 3 and 4 as Big Mo snuck in with the 11th highest point total, but good record, and Fantasy Jungle was very strong.

Yes, HMAN, I remember you well. You were my choice to win it all coming out of the draft that year along with my team of course. My one dislike of H2H as I would prefer all-play. My, between having drafted against you in 2005, Mr. Emma in 2004, and Mr. Baehman in 2006, this is becoming one heck of a reunion league. Definitely need to find you Thursday night for a beer or two if you're coming in that early.

I'll be at Ricky T's in Treasure Island Thursday
night. Short drive from my condo, in my economy rental deathtrap. I'll be sittin' outside listening to Kevin Toon's show and wearing an "H" hat (Univ of Hawaii) so I don't have to intoduce myself to anyone.
I'm sick of researching and am ready to pounce.
Going to Bengals-Falcons MNF tonight so I'll have some great disinfromation to share!

Will probably join you at Ricky T's as it sounds like my kind of place. Like you, I'm tired of mocking and ready for showtime. Not concerned about disinformation as I'm not drafting any Falcons anyway, particularly my ex-Saint Joe Horn. Boy, did JM, Jr. get out in the Vick, I mean, nick of time.

Should be hanging out in my Ravens championship t-shirt.

Should be a fun league. I'm just glad we avoided Johnny and SNAKE! Although we do get them in the auction.

How's South Florida been treating you? BTW, where are you/everybody staying in Tampa? When are you arriving? I plan on coming over a lil early to catch the tail end of the DC and hang out a lil before the auction draft Friday. I'll be the one in my birthday suit.

I'm getting in Thursday night and will go check with however Greg sends down to do the Tampa drafts to see if he/she needs any help before hitting the pool at the hotel before the auction. Bring the swimming trunks and feel free to join me as I think SNAKE and I may be staying at the same place.
