The fifth annual National Fantasy Football Championship will host live drafts for the main event on Saturday, Aug. 30th at the Schaumburg Renaissance Hotel & Convention Center. These drafts will start promptly at noon CST and consist of five leagues of 14 teams each. Everyone should be in the draft room at least 20 minutes before-hand as we will start EXACTLY at 1 p.m. There will be one break after round 9 and we’ll finish after the 18th round. Good luck everyone.

Remember that this year we will again have 3RR (Third Round Reversal) in the main event. That means we’ll start out 1-14 in Round 1, 14-1 in Round 2 and 14-1 again in Round 3. Serpentine continues in Round 4 as 1-14, 14-1, etc. through Round 18.

Chicago will feature 70 teams consisting of 5 full leagues. Below is the draft order for Chicago League 4:

CHICAGO LEAGUE 4
1. Jay Fletch, New Richmond, Wisconsin
2. Dave Cushard, Jackson, Michigan
3. Bill Opiola, Mosinee, Wisconsin
4. Mitchell Moss, Montreal, Quebec
5. Chris Gillman, Indianapolis, Indiana
6. Jim Ferrari, San Diego, California (PHONE)
7. Wayne Ellis, Evansville, Indiana
8. John Barkow, Okauchee, Wisconsin
9. Austin Tanner, Westchester, Illinois
10. Steve Lucinski, St. Louis, Missouri
11. Ormond Rose, Troy, Michigan
12. George Kleemann, Palatine, Illinois
13. Brian Swaw, Elwood, Illinois
14. Jeff Clampitt, Plainfield, Indiana

Pick #8 checking in. Everyone please tell me this is your 1st time playing FF, it's the only chance i have to beat you. I drafted Rudi in the 1st round last year so that should tell you something!

I lot of people picked Rudi in the first last year so you weren't alone. The good news is that if you want Rudi again he might be there a bit later. ;)

Nice job everybody - it's going to be a fun league this year!

Ormond - what's up with wearing the Portis jersey and then passing on him for Larry Johnson???

Wayne...you realize we're playing each other week1 in both leagues? I really don't like having to play against Big Ben/Holmes combo because i'm playing that in a bunch of other leagues this week. I think it's going to be a big week for big ben. Hopefully it all goes to Ward

You can have some fun rooting against my players tonight 'cause i'm starting them ALL!! Go Giants! LOL.

Wow - I didn't realize that! You are heavily invested in the Giants offense tonight. This means I need to cheer for a Redskin 28-0 victory! :D I hadn't noticed that you had Eli and Burress on both of your teams.

Good luck tonight!

Not quite the start I was looking for. I really thought Eli would come up with a big 1st game (especially with Springs being out) and it looked that way early but then he threw at least 5 terrible balls and Washington couldn't do a damn thing to make the G-men have to score more points. I'd really hate to have any redskins on my team(s) this year if that's what their playbook/gameplan is going to look like for the near future.

I really had no choice but to start Boss 'cause of Watson being questionable but oh well we'll see how the rest of the games play out. Good luck on Sunday!

For what it's worth JB, we have you being a 3 point favorite at this point in time. Burress was absolutely killing us. We play against him in all 3 Chicago leagues this week.

A 3 pt favorite in which league?

Burress did great for not having a TD and the Giants Def did ok for only having 1 sack and no turnovers. Just wish i'd gone with Cutler and Bulger, I'd take my chances that they score more than 15.7! QB pts are huge in these leagues and I'm worried about the 2 you have so i'm not sure i'd consider myself a favorite in either league right now.

Win or lose I just hope to score 130+. Points 1st, winning 2nd...I've had great records in the past and they have rarely helped me.
