Time Out for Diesel

Post by Diesel » Sun Feb 01, 2009 4:13 pm

Taking SIXTH place(Only 5 get money) in the Post Season Contest tells me I need a Time Out from Fantasy. I'm taking a break from all of this. It is very funny how many times I've come so close to wining some nice money here and JUST missed. But I'm taking a break for awhile. Enjoy the off-season. See you guys next May/June.

I feel for you Marc, I came in 6th as well in my 911 contest by 1 TD. Thought I had it in the bag with Warner and Fast Willie x4 and Fitz and Big Ben x3.

Jeff, I'll be there for draft day.

I'm going to get in touch with Glenn Schroter before our meet, and find a better place. We'll have a much better time hearing each other this year.

P.S. I'm going to find a new moniker that I like, if it kills me. "Diesel" is gone....lol...Unless I start doing some roids, I have to represent my moniker...Much like Stephen does with Quahogs...LMAO (kidding Stephen)

Tom, Union construction seems to change by the year. I only hope it's there for me when I retire.

And the name you came up with made me laugh out loud.

I'll use it for now.

'King of 3rd place.'

Marc,

You do know that NFFC is now letting teams that finish 3rd in there League in the Championship Round, Correct?

Funny story I was passing Greg's desk the other day and I heard Greg say to Tom on the phone we will call it the 'Diesel Rule'. :D ;)

Okay Ormond. How about this one? LMAO

I have to think of a great team name again, without having everyone think I'm 6'5, 320 DIESEL...LMAO...As SNAKE put it, he thought I was a white Vernon Davis type. I'm more of a Jim the Anvel Neihdardt type...lol...Or Tank Abbott...As Raiders put it.

Just for chuckles and giggles, I'll continue to change my moniker all off season until something sticks. Like "Sir Chubbalot". or some people at work were calling me the Brawny-Man. They swear I could be the model for that commercial...LMAO
