Me thinks someone's getting a little testy about the poor season he's had so far. Here's Tampa Mike lashing out just now on Twitter:

Does Mikebuc know GOOD receivers can deal with a double team?

Does Mikebuc know he was my 3rd round pick on my 838th place team in the online championship?

Does Mikebuc know that game plans usually heavily involve star players?

To say that Williams has been a disappointment would be a huge under statement. However, I think his lack of production is tied to many things. The biggest being the shaky play of Josh Freeman. He seems to have taken a step back when last year he looked extremely confident and sure of his decisions of where to go to the ball. I also don't think the Bucs take enough shots down field. If the threat of stretching the field does not exist then things don't tend to open up as much in the intermediate game.

I'm with you Tom, I'm giving Williams a shot to get back in my good graces with a solid performance this week.

I was all in this year on Williams and thought that Freeman would progress this year and not regress. Wrong again.

As far as Williams this week, the matchup should lend itself to decent production at the very least. You'd think the Bucs will be trailing and forced to throw it a lot and Williams has gotten a lot of targets most weeks. This is a make-or-break game for him on my roster in my top league. He needs to get a minimum of 10 points this week or he's out the door. I think the matchup lends itself to a higher ceiling but if he soils the bed again like he did last week I'm waving the white flag.
