JB, these were mid-season leagues that I really wasn't involved in, but I assume since you're just playing for total points the free agent process should still be active. Someone tell me that's the case and I'll tell STATS to open this up for bids tomorrow morning.

By the way, is that sister act still winning this league?

The FA is done in Mid Season A and Mid Season B. The leagues were set up to mirror the format the NFFC main event was using and this phrase is contained in the Mid Season rules:

In every case not listed below, the rules will follow the NFFC format http://nffcboards.stats.com/cgi-bin/ult ... 1;t=000303

As we (I) did not list any rules regarding when FA is done, I can only interpret that it would end when all of the other NFFC leagues ended.

Standings in League B right now:

1. Harry in the Hall2 1281.25
2. Left In The Dark 1256.5
3. Mass Destruction 1245.4
4. Racktors 1243.95
5. Doomsday 1237.7
6. Team Milligan 1121.65
7. Swamp Lizards 1100.3
8. LBS Dyv (League B) 1098.7
9. Big Daddy Squad 1020.05
10. Jersey Paul Mid-Season 1015.2
11. Walla Walla 998.65
12. ~ HBK ~ 961.75
13. Team Ward 956.75
14. Team Clampett 933.15

3 more weeks to go, high points takes a free entry ;)

I'm 8th and still within striking distance, but I have to start making my move THIS week and make up at least 60-70 pts. on the leaders or I'm cooked.

Ok, if that's the rules I guess I have to live with it. I was just assuming it would go to week 16 since this is quite different from the regular event in that we have no playoffs and we started mid-season so there are a lot less weeks already to spend your FA dollars. My fault for not having this rule clarified earlier.

Interesting league. A quick scan shows at least four NFFC league champs in that mid-season league, including the regular season points champ. Glad to see the girls are holding their own. Best of luck the rest of the way everyone.

Yes, Jan and I are trying to hang in there, but Favre isn't doing us any favors, Greg! Just when I was going to buy a couple of cheeseheads! We were in Las Vegas yesterday and when I saw that Favre had 28 yards at the half I almost had to call the paramedics!

Only a couple of weeks to go, so we'll see if we can catch up.

It's been a lot of fun regardless of how we finish, but of course it would be great to win!

Claire, I was at that game yesterday and the conditions were as bad as I've ever seen at Lambeau Field. Brett was a miracle worker in the second half to go 16-for-21 with a TD as a lot of that came against the wind in the third quarter. The conditions were so difficult that I had trouble drinking MGD against the wind, but I took full advantage of it when the wind was at my back! :D

It's supposed to be warmer this Sunday at Lambeau, but against Jacksonville I can't promise much from Brett when it's 30 or so at game time. Maybe a TD or two, but remember it's another 3:15 kickoff (the NFL obviously doesn't sit in the stands during these 3:15 games in December). Good luck and you go girls, you go.

Keg stands might be difficult, though.
