Must feel good beating Lenny after he ripped your Mag! :D

Is this based on actual end of year rankings vs. your projected rankings in all positions...or just QB, RB, WR, TE?

~Lance Hah!! We never hold any grudges!! ;) But yes, apparently our rankings were better than our writing in some eyes!! :D

This is based on a point system they use for all of the positions based on where we projected them and where they actually finished. This is for QB, RB, WR, TE and D/ST. They were sending updates each day this week and yesterday they sent the final rankings. We finished third in the QB rankings to vault us into the Top 5 yesterday, which was nice. We're in the Top 10 all-time for these rankings too, so I guess we do know a little about this stuff. We're not just nice guys, you know!! :D We do know our football here. :D

Congrats Greg and Tom!

I may give Fantasy Magazines in general a bad rap, but your Mags that include stuff from your top winners are my favorites each year!

~Lance Thanks Lance. It's easy to give fantasy mags a bad rap because of the timelessness that takes place. I can tell you from the time we go to press to the time you get the magazine is anywhere from 21 to 28 days later. That sucks, but it's not the writers' fault. When we go to press, damn is our stuff current!!! It's this damn thing called the Internet that makes us look so old!!!

But I still love ALL of the fantasy mags because ALL opinions are useful to me and all of the articles are worthy reads, whether you agree with them or not. And eventually it's up to each individual owner and fantasy owner to put together their own rankings after receiving all of this information and pulling the trigger on the tough calls on Draft Day. But without lots of different information, you're not going to win in today's info-filled world.

I love this stuff and as soon as we get done with our baseball rankings and magazines we're going to get started on football. And with any luck, some industry guys will trash our content again and we'll finish in the Top 5 of Fantasy Index's Experts Poll!! ;)

I've been around fantasy football for a while but I still can't put the services with the names of most of that list - can anyone help?

Wayne I know a few:

James Serra is co-founder of Fantasy Insights
Jim Lenz is co-founder of Fantasy Insights
John Hansen is owner of Fantasy Guru
Lenny Pappano is Draft Sharks
Millman (not sure which brother did the Poll) is Fantasy Football Champs (they did sell their site last year, but still contributed content)
Bonini is with KFFL
