As a reward for finishing in the Top 12 in last year's Fantasy Index Magazine Experts Poll, we have been invited to compete in their magazine draft this weekend. Results will be published in their issue this summer. Tom is participating in that tomorrow and has the fourth pick in a 22-round, non-PPR league, Draft Champions league. Draft results will obviously vary because it is a non-PPR league, but Tom can still provide some of the picks and a listing of his team here after the draft. Look for that here over the weekend and early next week.

LT and Peterson will be off the board among the first three picks. That's a given. So my choice will likely be between Steven Jackson and Brian Westbrook. If Westbrook goes 3, I'll take Jackson. If Jackson goes 3, I'll go with Westbrook. If another player vaults into the top 3 and both Jackson and Westbrook are on the board I'm going with Jackson.
Should be a lot of fun.
Should be a lot of fun.

Brian Swaw played in NFFC in Chicago last year. He joined about 12 of us for breakfast that Rob Benetti sprung for before the draft. He also got the gig last year to write about fantasy football every Friday in the Chicago Tribune.

It hurts taking away 90 rec. points from Westy...but 2000 total yards was killer.
Rumors (coachspeak) about reducing his role, and the old injury risk-past makes him a lovely scarey pick at #4...but who's better?
Nobody.
Nice top 4...no real risk, and a dropoff at #5.
Primative damn rules!
Stripping away the equivalent of 15 TD's from Westbrook, and essentially robbing Welker and Housh of 18.5 TOUCHDOWNS in value!!!
Yikes...Wes becomes a Bobby Engram type WR without PPR.

~Lance Agreed. It's the 21st century....every league needs PPR!!!

Maybe I'll show my belief in Gore by taking him fourth.
