In essence, you get the multiplier awarded for as many weeks that a player is on your roster.
Since Rodgers does not play Week 1 he gets 0 points for week 1. But if he then scores 40 in week 2, his week 2 total would actually be 80 points.
Grerat format and lots of fun! Wait sorry - still confused - This is the way I see it - Stop me if I am wrong -
Lets do it with scenarios -
Lets say I start Stafford -
Week 1 25 pts
Week 2 30 pts
Total = 25+30+30 (multiplier) = 85 Correct?
Now assume I start Rodgers -
Week 1 Bye
Week 2 40 points
Total = 40 (game 2 total) + 40 + 40 (Multiplier) = 120
Is that correct?
Thanks guys

The signups are extremely interesting to watch. I see people with one signup, two signups, three signups and even SIX signups in ONE event. More signups equal more chances to win an event, but there are so many different combos that you can do here, I'm not sure if it's better to do one and go with your gut, or go with SIX signups and just spread it out. I'm really eager to see how this plays out this year. I'll only play one but that Brees/Rodgers decision is going to keep me second guessing myself for sure.
I think Rodgers will be on 97% of teams.
I doubt that. I think at best it will be a 65/35 split between the 2.

Don't wait until the last minute to secure your spots because we are only shooting for 170 spots in each event. Thanks all.

Greg, haven't I been telling you for SEVEN YEARS that you should start signups for EVERYTHING earlier? If this results in bigger business for you, I'd like the credit for it by enjoying one free Corona...Oh wait, Tom does that anyway...LOL

Rodgers would have 80 points in your scenario. 0 for the bye week, 40 x 2 for Week 2 = 80 points. And with a week like that, he should be playing in Week 3!! So 3 x 40 in Week 3 = 120.

I just signed up for $30 and wondering if you can pick your Team right now? I tried and the page was blank. Am I missing something?

I'll check, but now that all playoff teams are determined we'll get rosters loaded by tomorrow. The busy Bowl day may have pushed things back a day. Good luck all.
We now have 70+ signups already for the $120 contest and 90+ for the $30 contest. Don't delay if you still want to be one of the first 150 teams in the contest. Thanks all.

i've set mine today.
love the tactics of this game. normally you try to aim to pick the 2 QBs from the start who will play in the superbowl...but there might be a cse this year for picking Brees & Rodgers to get x3 for both in the potential championship game shoot out. Especially a good idea if you think Baltimore are going to the Superbowl as Rice averages more points than Flaco this season...
