Guys...a couple of thoughts here. First of all..Greg already volunteered to commish on another page so that's a non-issue.
Second....think about this for a minute..the season doesn't start until Sept.7th. Why not hold our supplemental draft on Sept.6th?

3 immediate benefits:

1)A little extra sleep Monday night
2)We'll all be needing a place to channel our excitement 24 hours prior to kickoff 2006!
3)As up to date as possible with all injuries/roster moves/arrests etc... may make supplemental players more valuable.

Is there any reason (scheduling) why we can't make this work? Trying to make the website something it is not seems to be complicating a relatively simple draft process. Greg can probably get the 8 rounder set up at MDC for Sept 6th.

Is everyone good with this?

What about Monday the 4th? I could personally do Aug.24,25,26,28,29,30 Sept4,5,6

Any chance we can get 14 guys to post available dates? All we need is one of them to be common to all 14 owners. I just posted 9 dates above...I'd bet we can match one of them.

If we can't find a common date then an e-mail draft is a more equitable solution. There's absolutely no reason why we have to complete the final 8 rounds the same night.

I actually was trying to get some non-mb people, as a lot of our leagues seem to look identical. It's amazing how hard this league was to fill. I sent out many e-mails and posted the info on 5 different mb's for baseball leagues I am in....amongst 40+ people, only one even sent me a response. :rolleyes:
