Boston Classic League Draft Spots

This does compromise the integrity of the entire event. If a team from this league wins the overall, it's very tainted.

I'm shocked fanball doesn't have a set rule in place to handle a no-show owner. Greg, you've GOT to fix this for the future. Using the ADP is fine, as long as you skip over anyone known to be seriously hurt, and you make sure you fill all the team's positions.

[/QUOTE]Really? Is this the roster below? If yes what WR's is this team starting? 4 total WR's? Not one Wr will play week one. RB's 4, two are out for the season. Yes you should be happy, it gives you a huge advantage and the other 12 owners in this League.

Don't you think after looking at this roster a second time?

Frank i had no idea he did not have a full line up to field when you asked me that but now i understand what you meant and yes i agree i would not what to win a walkover like that in such a contest as this. We got a little behind tracking all teams and i stopped around round 15 so i had no idea he didn't have the WR starters for week one in place...and why they let that happen(again, IF it was not being done by listed rule which is what i was lead to believe) is beyond words now. The last 2-3 rounds they should have made sure the team had a full line up of healthy players as of yesterday going forward to this week one games. I also was i little put off with attitude of the guy running the draft. When he got all huffy at me and made us wait till all picks were done with, for trying to initial my roster after we made out last pick(my partner really had to get back to his family)so we could leave it really was a turn off. He didn't seem to be in the best of moods esp. late in the Classic draft.

Its a shame really for that missing owners team..looks like if he did have a few serviceable bodies at WR he could make something out of that roster. Say VJax lands somewhere soon or resigns with SD and Rice is good to go come week 7-8 that team could make a run at a playoff spot if could just stay close. Hes very strong at all other starting line up spots. I would like to know what ADP list they were using. i could not have been very up to date because both VJax and Rice are well down any ADP lists right now. Simply put ALL players on IR esp. for year should be taken out of the list and that should be a no brainer thing to do. It an integrity of contest type situation and that's why he should have done just that.. More i think about what the heck was that guy thinking putting Avery and Tate on any roster? I guess owners could make that type of a mistake if they were not prepared and uninformed but has that ever even happened in the NFFC Classic and its $1400 league fee. I have my doubts but its possible. Touchy situation which goes back to the owner not showing or calling and listed rules on situation at hand not being very well defined or written well enough at all. I still must wonder why the NFFC did not have his phone numbers to at least try to get him. If you knew he was not attending live and had to draft over phone one would think you should have 100% for sure contact information on hand.
