i just don't see how can you make rivers a top 8 qb if jackson doesn't play.

unlike the other top qbs, rivers has never even thrown 500 passes in a season and I don't see that changing now. I have him at about 3600 and 25 tds.

Here's why:

1. I believe he's a very talented QB.
2. I believe Mathews is a very talented RB.
3. Gates is a stud talent
4. I think Floyd and Nanee are better than people believe.

Put it all together and I think he'll be a solid QB1. I could see him falling behind Kolb and Flacco but I think they come with more risk. So for me it's about comfort and I feel more comfortable with Rivers.

You don't even mention Cutler - i'll take him over rivers this season all day long - especially with your rules of only minus 1 for a pick.

I agree he has Top 5 upside but I also think he comes with considerably more risk. He's yet to prove he can be a consistent QB. Martz QBs do throw a lot but that hasn't proven to be a successful formula for Cutler. Martz QBs also throw a ton of picks and that's a problem with Cutler. They also tend to get hurt because they take a lot of pounding due to the fact Martz sends so many players into the routes as receivers.

It comes down to trust and while I like Cutler's talent I don't trust him enough to have him as my QB1.

Glenn 1. Roethlisberger - LOVE his value and yes I'm targeting him as a QB2.

2. Jackson - I want no part of him right now.

3. Holmes - I've been targeting him as my WR4 for months and will continue to do so. He's a fine talent and the Jets will use him.
