NINTH ROUND
Marc:
I got a backup QB in the 9th round, Vince Young.
Bulger will be my starter, but now I have Vince just in case.

NINTH ROUND
I took Eli in the 9th as an immediate back up to Big Ben in the 8th. There was a pretty hard run on QB's in LV-6. By the time I took Ben at pick 8.5, I was the last team without a QB ...and yes, this was the fabled league where Peyton went at 1.3

Some ninth round picks may very well turn out to be legit fantasy starters, but from what I saw available there, Rivers was the best choice for my squad. Not putting down any other leagues, but I had quite a few sharks in mine. There's no way Rivers would have fell back to me if I let him go in round 9. My backp would have been Culpepper. Not a good spot to be in with Culpepper as your #2, in my opinion.
