It's wrong.

Change it.

It states nowhere that I lock a guy as a FLex.

Some people know this and others don't. Sounds alot like the FFM's last year....

Change it. Now.

Good for everyone. Not just me.

3' Your logic is flawed.

In the rules YOU posted is says FLEX is different position. Superpion described it perfectly.

"It states nowhere that I lock a guy as a FLex."

This is flawed also. To make this statement, you also then have to say,
"It states nowhere that I lock a guy as a RB."
"It states nowhere that I lock a guy as a WR, etc.."

It does not have to say that because YOU clearly posted that FLEX is a different position than that of RB ONLY (2), WR ONLY (3), or TE ONLY (1).

Greg has no explaining to do whatsoever because he has CLEARLY listed FLEX as a SEPERATE LINEUP POSITION.

Gotta go and have not heard back on my e-mail.

Anyone know how to correct this?

Thanks.

3' I read the 1st 2 pages and skimmed the last 3 of this thread. I am friends with most of the people posting but I will stand with you on this one. I think a provision should be made for changing your lineup on this occasion for one reason only. The NFL changed the KC/Mia game previously scheduled for Sunday to Friday at basically the last minute.

Had that game not changed (Lou is it?) would have had the opportunity to correct his lineup this morning. Greg should reserve the right to make judgement calls on the fly should an unforseen circumstance (i.e. hurricane) come into play. This is my opinion and those of you who know me, know I don't give a damn if you agree with it or not.

Personally I think this poor guy got the hell harassed out of him on this thread just so a few people could stroke their collective egos - AGAIN!

[/QUOTE]That's a good, solid point, but the game was moved by the NFL Thursday morning. That gave him almost two days to adjust his lineup accordingly.

Yet ... you say you noticed it last year ... and did nothing! "talk the talk" but don't "walk the walk". You bitch about this happening ... yet ... you said yourself ... you were aware of this last year ... and you did nothing about it. You could have taken action last year that might have prevented this from happening this year. Your are not required to be proactive ... but why expect or insist others be ... if you are not.

He figured it out too when it was too late. Should a rule of this importance be allowed to be "figured out"? I will say again in support of 3intboy - this situation, with such a high potential for a porblem that could (and did) impact a team should've been specifically addressed in the rules and/or elsewhere on the NFFC site in BOLD lettering. And it was not.

Help! Right now w/ Lineup submission!!

wow, i missed all the fun.. again.

This seems like a TOTAL SOFTWARE FAILURE.

I can't imagine that the owners of this event INTENDED it to be so, OTHERWISE, it would be stated in the rules so that all players could be aware of the possible issue.

For everyone to jump on board and say, "That's the way it is and has been" may be valid, HOWEVER, has the owner of this event said this and IF so, I would like an explanation why this rule is NOT in the rule book.

If this is the case, are there OTHER rules in the rule book that AREN'T in the rule book ??

I would want an answer to this question before I enter again.

Edited to add: I guess I shouldn't use the word "Rule", however it seems like a RESTRICTION that at the very least, should be documented.

I guess what I'm getting at is, (and maybe the regulars can help), How many other things are out there could be left open for interpretation?

Thanks Route C. Yes it's Lou.

Don't worry about harrasment(but I appreciate it). Because I couldn't give a damn either, I have enough background to handle it...

I would appreciate the immediate change, for the obvious reason it benefits me.
BUT, I honestly believe it should be changed right away for the benefit of whomever is out there not knowing or reading these boards(as I don't most days)facing the possibility of making this same assumption.

Thanks.
