http://nffcboards.stats.com/cgi-bin/ult ... 233#000000 I wouldn't call that "address this topic". Yes, he mentioned it in response to a question by another poster but how does this help owners who didn't read that little thread or those who joined this year? I don't want to pile on Greg for this at all. I think it's a slight oversight but not a travesty by any means. A simple issue and one that can be easily be corrected.

http://nffcboards.stats.com/cgi-bin/ult ... 233#000000 Am I the only one who thinks this rule is just common sense? Just like ANY other position, the flex player locks also as soon as their game begins. After week one when the Pats played the Raiders on Thursday, when someone went to change their lineup, the players on the Raiders and Pats were ALL locked. Same as if you try and move a player out of an early game after the 12:55 deadline... they too are locked.

Greg addressed it last year in the link found by Gekko, so I highly doubt he changes it.

Now as for next year, maybe something could be done, but you can't change the rules (as Greg interprets them) in the middle of the season.

It's not changing the rules midseason because this is not a rule issue and it's not even addressed in the rules. It's a software issue. The would-be allowed lineup changes would still result in VALID linups. Again - no rules changes.

Do you care to answer my question from the above post:

How does this help owners who didn't read that little thread (posted 1+ year ago) or those who joined this year?

3 INT,

I just looked at your team, and I have to ask a question. Why didn't you activate David Patten in Torry Holt's place when you heard the news that Holt wasn't playing???

I know you said you wanted Marion Barber's points, but that is taking your highest bench player and giving you the points. How does anyone REALLY know that you intended to start Barber, and not Lamar Gordon for example?

IMO you should have started Patten, and took the points he got you. It was only 7.6 (to Barber's 10.1), and then you could have argued your case. The way it is now, it is PURE speculation on who you wanted to start (not that I believe it will be changed anyhow).

I'm sorry 3-Int, but I just can't see your point on this.
