We just have different definitions of intelligence, logic and common sense. No biggie.

Lou, Route C and Nag,

You are not going to get them to "see the light" on this one and by them, I do not mean Greg.

Time to freeze this thread.

I am glad I used my 4th, 9th and 12th round picks this year on the "Flex Position" for my team instead of picking another WR, RB or TE.

3' Flex is a position. There would be a far greater outcry if Greg went backwards and gave you points for complaining because you didn't understand this. Anyone who ever had this problem, this year and last year, would then demand points be reinstated to their team. That can't and won't happen.

I do agree, however, that if it could be changed going forward, it should be.
Agreed about going backwards because of lack of understanding IF he wasn't tring to get help from Stats before first game players were locked in, which his e-mail proves he was.

Customer service issue not a rules issue - right?

Sorry I can't agree with you on this one, RC, as we have 22 weeks of precedence here that can't be ignored although some would like to. Even though I am for what Lou wants and Greg intended, mid-season is no time to be playing with software. I'm with you 100%, Greg, but risking blowing up everything at this point in the season for one person who may or may not have fallen asleep at the wheel is not worth it IMO. Save this for next season. That's OK Rick, we don't have to agree on everything for me to like you. :D
I just feel if the guy sent an e-mail, he should be able to voice his displeasure over a 4 1/2 hour response time. It's not like we depend on the Pony Express any more. Stats was the one asleep at the wheel this time. IMO

once lou realized that holt wasn't going to play, and he couldn't put barber in the line-up, did he replace holt with a wr?
Is my "weekend warrior" prep better than your prep?

I guess this answers the 50+ posts from folks who think that the "FLex" position is an actual position.

Lou, the Flex is a set position

for now everyone should be aware that the Flex is its own position

hmmm....
No he didn't, but in all fairness, he should've gotten a quicker response - don't you agree?

Personally I would've put Patten in (just in case) but that doesn't excuse poor response time.

Call me generous, or call me an idiot if you want but I'd still give him the points because it is well documented and time stamped what he was trying to do.

3 INT....Per Greg:

Lou, the Flex is a set position

for now everyone should be aware that the Flex is its own position

While Greg agrees that this may not have been the best way to have the system set up and that future changes to the software "snafu" as he puts it may be forthcoming, he fully supports the notion that the FLEX is indeed a position as the current lineup requirement/software setup combination exists.

The one argument that I strongly stated that Greg DID NOT support was how intuitive this was to most users. Whether he strongly believes that himself or not is difficult to decipher because McDonald's did in fact cave and label the HOT COFFEE WITH WARNINGS.

I support the idea of changing the software next year to be more accomodating but I stand firmly behind my own argument.
