Good Strategy or Classless Act?

Post by Tom Kessenich » Fri Nov 19, 2004 6:59 am

Hey guys, let's say we all move on from this particular subject, ok? Everyone has had their say on both sides, so let's call it a day and turn our attentions elsewhere. Sound good? Thanks.

Good Strategy or Classless Act?

Gentlemen -- as starter of this thread, I hope to now finish it up.

There was no intention here to mock any individual person. I was just mocking the situation. If you look back at most of my posts (please don't -- you'll burn out your eyes), you'll see that that has been my M.O.

Just making light of the situation -- I swear.

Since none of us basically know each other, let's just give each other the benefit of the doubt from here on in -- let's always assume that none of this is ever, ever, personal.

I would be happy to sit down a buy a beer for every single one of the board regulars who is of age.
Hello. My name is Lee Scoresby. I come from Texas, like flying hot-air balloons, being eaten by talking polar bears and fantasy football.

I'm curious! Since when did a MB have to remain so politically correct? This same ribbing occurs in bars and living rooms all the time. You get a few guys together and it's going to happen. Just because we don't "hang out" doesn't mean we have to act like girl scouts.

Don't tell me you guys don't have stuff alot worse than this on the MB's of your private leagues. I feel like I'm in kindergarten.

Sorry Tom - I don't think we need any monitoring on this one. Remember, getting on the MB is a choice.
If you can't stand the heat....get out of the kitchen. :D ;)

I'm not asking folks to act like girl scouts, trust me. And there's nothing wrong with good-natured ribbing. I just think this particular situation has gone as far as it can go so I thought I'd step in and politely ask everyone to move along. I may be interceding too quickly but I'd rather jump the gun a bit than be late to the game, know what I mean?
