help me pick my keepers in my home league

auction salary cap league. 200 dollar cap. 12 teams. ppr. all tds 6 pts. yardage counts too.

raises must be given. under 20=5 dollar raise. 20-29=4,30-39=3,40-49=2,50 and up 1.

i can keep one guy for no raise for not making the playoffs.

i'm 90% sure what i'm going to do, just thought i'd see what you guys think. (the number next to the player is last year's points.)
it's definitely an off keeper year for me.

i can keep as many players as i want.

Garrard, David JAC QB 259.9 $1.00
Roethlisberger, Ben PIT QB 383.6 $6.00
Fargas, Justin OAK RB (I) 166.7 $5.00
Jackson, Steven STL RB 207.4 $80.00
Leonard, Brian STL RB (R) 78.6 $3.00
Morris, Sammy NEP RB (I) 65.9 $5.00
Pittman, Michael TBB RB 74.0 $2.00
Ward, Derrick NYG RB (I) 128.1 $5.00
Watson, Kenny CIN RB 207.6 $5.00
Boldin, Anquan ARI WR 211.7 $36.00
Crayton, Patrick DAL WR 161.7 $1.00
Muhammad, Muhsin CHI WR 115.0 $5.00
Randle El, Antwaan WAS WR 132.9 $5.00
Ward, Hines PIT WR 190.3 $23.00
Williams, Roydell TEN WR 150.9 $5.00
Heap, Todd BAL TE (I) 52.9 $9.00
Miller, Zach OAK TE (R) 106.4 $1.00
Nugent, Mike NYJ PK 112.0 $1.00
Rackers, Neil ARI PK 116.0 $1.00

How many keepers allowed?
2008- Didn't finish last overall in the Classic.
2009- Didn't finish last overall in the Classic or Primetime.

Comes down to one of these 2.

If your league league mates greatly value QB's, I would go with Big Ben.

I didn't check which RB's are being released in your league, but if you can find value there, I'd say drop S. Jax. $80 out of $200 is a LOT. That may have been the reason you didn't make the playoffs. IF an $80 player plays like an MVP, he can help you along, but if he doesn't, it's very hard to come out of an $80 hole in an auction/salary cap league.

I'd also say to keep Big Ben.

i can keep as many as i want.

oh and i traded for Jackson mid season last year. I gave up Michael Turner (3 bucks) and garbage for him. The trade got me into a tie for the last playoff spot, but i lost the tie breaker. really wish i hadn't done that deal now, as I could have Turner for 2 more years. (max # of years you can keep a player is 3 years.)

right now i have penciled in: Big Ben 6 (no raise), Crayton 6, Garrard 6.

Depending on which WR's are available, you might consider Boldin too, even with the raise. Unless you've got some stud WR's you can get at a better price.

Good Luck!

Big Ben is a consensus for me.

I'd consider Garrard/Crayton/Watson.

I just have this feeling about Watson.

I have to agree with Marc about SJax. As much as I like him this season, 40% of your bankroll on one player is crippling.

booo, i like the 2 qb's big ben and garrard.I think crayton will finally solidy the #2 spot once "nrs. glenn gets hurt again.I to think watson could shine this year. The one? is fargas, supposedly oakland would like to ease DMC into the mix this year.Iknow everyone is thinking he'll have an adrian peterson like year, but this is oakland.I guess my ? is with all his hype would fargas go less than $11 or you keep him and go after DMC,then you have the rbbc in oakland.I think that would be the smart move. You would of spent $43 dollars and have 2qb's,1 wr,and 2 rb's with the notion of going after DMC and solidify the oakland backfield.
