Additional Bonus for NFFC players - we have secured special rates at the Golden Nugget

$55 weekdays
$99 weekends (incl holiday)

To get these rates call 800 777-5687 and mention Poker Tournament for Football Group
(not necessary to be playing in the tournament, but I am giving the information to people on this thread first)

Thanks, Bill Ezzell Depends on how many people are in the event and how agressive the blinds are. 50 people with medium aggressive blind structure(25 minute rounds) and no re-buys, I'd say about 3-4 hours tops.
Is my "weekend warrior" prep better than your prep?

Hook,

I received the email for the WCOFF poker tourney but not for the NFFC one. Is this thing still a go? How many people have signed up so far?

I just talked with Capt. Hook's contact in Las Vegas yesterday and he is still organizing everything for us. As I told him, we are still attracting players to Las Vegas, unlike the WCOFF which already has 600+ people with travel plans to Las Vegas. He is only trying to fill 50 spots through Hook, so don't be turned off if few have officially signed up for the poker tournament. But we will continue to allow Capt. Hook to keep promoting this on our boards and I have a feeling there will be a lot of guys who will stick around on Saturday night to compete.

Anyone who definitely is going to do the poker tournament, please post your reply here or contact Perry individually. Thanks.

Well, I'm definately in! Will there be a shuttle (or some SUV limos) to take us downtown?

I will be their with a partner and we would both like to play in the tournament. If there are spots how do we pay and reserve 2 spots. Thanks and good luck to everyone.

Just e-mail me at [email protected] and I'll forward everything to Perry Van Hook. Perry is an NFBC member who is organizing this for NFFC members who are interested. I'll give him the list and let him take care of payment and getting the registrations set up. Thanks.

Thursday night after the x-perts draft would have been better for me for poker. I have to fly back Sunday. Just think, all those experts ready to prove they're the best at poker. Perry you missed the boat on the day. But I'll go for saturday night if I must.
