Any thoughts on optimal draft spots this year? Does the apparent depth at RB change anyone's strategy?

Thanks! I draft 3rd in another league and want a different on Portis. I think he is a stud, but there is other options drafting 3rd.

I've always been a believer that the prime spot to be in a draft is right in the middle. This year in my main league I'm dead last so I'm debating several different possible strategies to try and compensate for what I consider to be a less-than-positive draft position. I have written that I believe there is much more depth at RB this season than in recent years so I do think that will alter how some people draft.

Greg is of course. And my answer has nothing to do with the fact he's my boss.

No lower than 6th if you want a stud RB, or use the opposite strategy and go QB+WR at end of 1st , beginning of 2nd

Here is a good question:

Do you like the dynamic quickness of retrieving stats immediately via the Internet or are you a throwback who enjoyed reading the Monday newspaper back in the early 90's to find out how your players fared ?

Internet guy here. I love the immediate response you can get and I love being able to track games that day rather than having to wait until the next morning. I actually no longer subscribe to a newspaper. I get the vast majority of my news off the Web now. Sometimes I wonder how in the heck I managed to live a good portion of my life without it. :D

With that being said, do you feel that fantasy football subscription sites have leveled the playing field amongst competitors along with the fact that everyone can find out the same information instantly(injuries, players cut, losing starting position, etc.).

any thoughts on Barlow? He seems to be going very high for a guy with a crappy offense and short track record.
