Liquid, I stood behind Tom with a gun in his back as he typed in "Greg is" the better guru. ;) Truth of the matter is, he's killing me in a KP Experts baseball league this year and running away with it and neither one of us have won the KP Experts football league recently, although I lost in the Super Bowl in 2002.

Actually, we don't take ourselves too seriously around here. We're both fortunate to have found jobs where we can write about football and baseball all day long and even get paid for it. Tom covered the Packers for nine years while I was paving the way here for him, so I give him dibs on football knowledge. We argue about players from time to time when we do the rankings for the magazines, but for the most part we agree on a lot of things.

No gurus in this building. Just a group of fantasy die-hards who happen to have fun every day at work...and get paid for it.

Another new signup came in during the chat. Let's welcome Marc Murphy of Stratford, Connecticut, who will be drafting solo in New York. Thanks for joining this wild group, Marc, and best of luck in the hunt for the $200,000 grand prize.

Thats why I joined! I was becoming bored with my local league(still in it, as Gordon would say"better pot odds").I want to be challenged and The NFFC will do that!

Sounds good Mike.

And I echo what Greg said. We're really lucky to be working for a company that is realizing the incredible potential of the fantasy sports industry at this particular time. Greg obviously has been one of the biggest pioneers in the industry and we've been able to build off his knowledge, experience and relationships to develop a number of exciting ventures - including the NFBC and NFFC. This industry has a very exciting present and a really bright future and it's definitely a lot of fun to be a part of it.

As far as the KP Baseball League, I'm surprised that I've been leading from the start of the season -- not because I didn't think I had a good team (I had a damn good team :D ), but because it's virtually impossible to lead from wire to wire in baseball. We'll see if that can continue.

As Greg said, I haven't won any of our KP football leagues in recent years, but I do like both of my teams this season (I'm really pumped about my KP2 team). We'll see how the season unfolds.
