There is no reason why we can't have an impulse buy for our Online Championship next year with the right registration page, listings of every available league and the number of available spots for those leagues, and a KDS system that automates shortly after the final signup for that league takes place. It's a plan we will work on and hopefully perfect for 2012.

That being said, again, is that an important part of the Online Championship and something worth keeping going forward or is the straight serpentine model more preferred? Is it also a format worth keeping for the Primetime? All worthy questions and worthy answers, I hope.

LOVE 3rr with KDS. The 13 week season is a must with bye weeks being thru week 11. I don't want my last chance for a playoff push decided in bye weeks. I know we don't have much of an attention span, but 11 weeks for all that dough is just not enough time! 13 weeks gives everything a chance to play out. It takes a little more of the luck factor out of the equation. Longer season = a necessity for a deeper roster to have any success.

I do like KDS and 3RR and think that it's the NFFC's niche...however, I do really wish there were playoffs in week 12 and 13.

Just a question for which I don't know the answer.

With not having playoffs at all does the nffc see more teams give up and not put in starting lineups then leagues with playoffs?

I understand this will happen in every league, but I find that when leagues have a playoff system with four teams more owners have a chance at the money all thru the season and thus keep their interest going.

How has un-managed teams been handled in the past?

My guess is that with the points so high this year that we will see five or more teams out of competition for the top two spots by week 8 and thus will see maybe as many as five weeks of un-managed teams.

I do like the kds, but also see it limitations for getting early draft assignments and think that keeps a rather large group from entering this contest.

Love the KDS and 3RR. For $1400 I want a choice of where I pick. I have probably stayed away from the FFPC Main Event for this reason. The Classic sees more top 6 teams take WRs than all other formats because KDS/3RR lets you pick your spot to build your team how you want. Pick 14 in my Classic did NOT want the 14th pick but was able to build a solid team because of 3RR. Please post the stats of the champion ship round playoff distribution from all draft spots over the last couple of years so everyone can see how all spots are represented. I would be interested in the FFPCs championship round draft slot distribution also. I would guess the NFFC is more balanced. My comments are biased toward the 14 team so I wonder Greg does the balance hold for the Primetime as much as the Classic. This will be the first year when the sample pool has shifted I believe also, with more Primetime players vs Classic. I may be mistaken, being lazy and dont want to look for the thread. Sorry if I am mistaken. NO PLAYOFFS, you already have playoffs for the top 2 for the top league prize right?

I do like the kds, but also see it limitations for getting early draft assignments and think that keeps a rather large group from entering this contest. I'm not sure why you'd infer that more teams would give up in the NFFC than other formats when we still pay out top three spots in each league. There is always still a fight for those money spots through 13 weeks and in fact many teams are still in the hunt right down to the wire. If teams are that far out in total points like you are saying, then how could those same teams still be in the playoff hunt in the other format? Bad teams are bad teams no matter if there are playoffs or not. I guess the only difference is that we have two extra weeks of regular season, which should be seen as a positive I'd hope not a negative.

We don't get involved in setting rosters. All of you have paid $1,400 per team and it's your job to set starting lineups each week. If owners quit on their teams, it's up to your league mates to bring that to his attention, not me.

I just don't see five or more teams per league -- especially in the Primetime -- quitting by Week 8. The bye weeks change everything and I sure hope more than 7 teams per league are setting rosters in Week 9. I think you're underestimating the fortitude of fellow NFFC owners, many of whom fight for every point because it is reflected in our Lifetime Standings.

If people want early draft spots through KDS, we can arrange that in 2012. If people want later draft spots through KDS we can arrange that too in 2012. I have a plan that will solve this "problem" easily for folks going forward. For many folks who want as much information as possible before setting their KDS -- like knowing if Adrian Foster is going to pull his hamstring in the second to last pre-season game -- then the current format is best for them. But we can get it done for those owners who want their draft spots announced earlier. Stay tuned.

i don't know how anyone could say that the same amount of teams are in the money hunt when only top two get paid versus a playoff of four teams.

i hope everyone is correct and teams really value their lifetime standings and keep setting the best lineup possible the entire season. i know i will always keep my league honest when they play my team. however, i expect to be in the money in the end anyway.

let me also say that my first impressions of the NFFC have been great.

Absolutely love KDS & 3RR. It is inconceivable to me the fear factor people have of KDS, it simply gives us more control and say about where we draft. When spending a nice entry fee, who wouldn't want control of where they draft? I do not understand why anyone would be opposed to it, other than they simply are not used to it & thuse scared of the control it gives. Let's not make decisions that appeal to the lowest common denominator & cater to people's fears. Also 3RR simply balances things & makes drafting later more attractive, love it.

NO PLAYOFFS! One thing I have always hated about Fantasy Football is the crapshoot factor of the playoffs, where the majority of money is decided by 2 or 3 weeks of LUCK. I believe the best team overall through the course of a season should be awarded the most money. The NFFC is my absolute ideal Fantasy Footbal scoring system & prize structure. From the labor day weekend draft, to the 14 team league setup, to KDS, 3RR, and to the scoring system of 6 points for QB TD's, .5 points for RB's receptions & most importantly NO PLAYOFFS, the NFFC as constituted is IDEAL.

Greg & Tom, all of these features create fairness and please do not change anything. I get a sense you have this feeling that you need to cater to the WCOFF crowd & their structure. They are simply used to a different way of doing things & once they realize the equity of all of your rules, I think most will come to appreciate the structure you have set up.

I just wanted to speak up so the silent majority are heard and the NFFC doesn't just cater to the WCOFF crowd simply because they are used to a different structure.

I have quit all of my neighborhood leagues simply because I feel so strongly about the equitable structure you have setup, not only for scoring, but awarding prizes. DO NOT CHANGE A THING!
