What is up with the people on this site?

Can no one make comments or ask questions on this site without being belittled by others? READ THE RULES, GO FIND ANOTHER LEAUGE.... We have a hand full of know it alls that keep knocking people for what they have to say. I need not call those out because you know who you are. No, I'm not perfect but some of you need to chill out a little bit.

There are a couple of people on this board that just keep taking a beating for what they have to say (Renman). If you disagree with him then disagree. There is no need to trample on the guy.

Just my thoughts...

Hmmm ... lets see ... that’s 5000 posts where renman calls someone dishonest ... 5000 posts where renman accuses someone of being infatuated with him ... 5000 posts where renman puts someone else down (because how could anyone with 1/2 a mind not think like renman) ... and 5000 posts where renman "trusts Greg completely".

The thought of it just makes me want to hurl.

I agree with you in principle TURBOUGH ... but renman has personally called many of us ... including me ... dishonest more than once. he also treats people like they are idiots when they don't agree with him. IMO he is treated much better than he treats others. But thats just one opinion ... I'm sure there are others.

I thought Greg himself said one of the purposes for these boards was to vent.

And yet, there are some who would suppress the First Ammendment message board rights. This would be a pretty boring place and some pretty boring conversations if everyone agreed. Let's keep the conflict rolling.

You are right on the money. The rude abrasive comments of "go read the rules, go find another league" spewed at people who come here asking harmless questions is sad and embarrassing. But over the years I have learned some about human behavior here. People on message boards are often going to behave like they are in high school. For some reason, for some people, it makes them revert back to that time. They get dramatic, they get hostile, they get dishonest or irrational. It is kind of a shame.

I have seen many people come here making harmless comments or asking question that to THEM are reasonable and they get mocked for no reason. If I were you, I would go with the old adage of not letting a "few bad apples" spoil things for you. The NFFC is the best thing going in fantasy sports that I know of. The vast majority of people who post here are great guys, some are VERY funny, and most are big time serious fantasy players. In the past I would engage with the clowns and rile them up by calling them on their behavior. Now I will ignore it and laugh at it and keep the talk to football.

There is a message board fraternity here (as on most boards from what I understand) and if you do not drink their kool-aid you will be shunned from their cyber club...lol

How can you root for my team more than yours? lol I guess that shows just how unreasonable some can be here (not you, but the people you are speaking of)... I really had no idea I impact people THAT MUCH on this board (though reading ugly yellows laughable post shows I do) that you would root for me to win the big prize just to see the message board fallout. I bet if I won this place would go silent regarding me...

Bottom line is lots of great people post here and it is a great setting for passionate fantasy football talk. Who knows, maybe some industry changing innovations (BBDS, 3RR, KDS, etc) will have been born on this message board...
