Renman, the best way to handle smack talk on the boards is to ignore it or dish it back. Saying things like "you really are a funny little man." Or "Thanks." Just go with the flow and let your results in the main event do the talking. That's why I let a lot of this go as for the most part it's just boys being boys. When it gets nasty, then Tom and I step in.

Good luck everyone. I'm already getting the 2007 signup page ready, so that's a good sign. What goodies will I have in store for next season? Wait and see what I've decided to do.

Greg,

I have it all under control. None of it bothers me and good natured trash talk is fine and at times funny even if not my personal style. Some of the stuff here on the board gets petty and teen level but it is that way on all message boards. Nothing new.

I think the point Turbough was making to start this thread had less to do with me (though he mentioned my name) and more to do with some of the newcomers who have been mocked or knocked for coming here asking reasonable questions.

I will carry on and hope that DeAngelo Williams can continue to carry me further this season...

In my original post, I was referring to comments made towards (what appers to be ) new people. I do laugh at some of the posts on this board especially when people disagree but when someone brings up an issue that a couple of you disagree with, LOOK OUT.

I can definately handle my end of it. I do know that I have lost it a couple of times. It's not about me but others that ask legitimate questions or bring up new ideas. I'm returning in 2007 regardless of what goes on within this MB.
