2009 NFFC Classic Signup List: 294 Teams

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Thu Mar 05, 2009 3:17 am

Congratulations to Tom Yates of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania as he won the $100,000 grand prize in the NFFC's main event last year. This was the second year Tom has competed in the NFFC Classic and it certainly didn't take him long to master this 14-team format as his RECOVERY BOYS won New York League 6 and then got hot in Weeks 14-16 to win the grand prize. Congrats Tom. You deserve it.

While 2008 was a great year with 308 teams in the NFFC Classic main event and another 252 teams in the NFFC Primetime, there's no time to sit back and relax. It's time to plan for the 2009 event, which is less than 6 months away. We opened the signup page last week (just click on the REGISTER link on the right-hand side of the new NBC Sports NFFC home page) and are taking signups now. Remember, you can sign up for any NFFC league now and we won't hit your credit card until August 1st. You can also save $100 if you sign up for the NFFC Classic and NFFC Primetime main events before July 1st ($2,050 for both instead of $2,150). I'll add each new signup to this thread as they come in, so check here to see who is officially signed up and ready to compete in each of our events.

Okay, it's appropriate that Tommy Yates is our first official signup of 2009. Who can possibly knock him off his throne this year!! :D Can he possibly be the first person to ever win back-to-back NFFC titles? Let's find out.

Here's the list to date and good luck everyone:

I AM IN FOR CHI-TOWN AGAIN!!

THANKS. I didn't want to ASS-U-ME anything!! :D In fact, I need to move Mike to the top of the Las Vegas list when he says he's coming back because he contacted me in January to say he's in and ready to be the first 2009 signup. I got so caught up in baseball that I almost forgot about that. Just say the word Mike and I'll add you at the top.

Tell the others in that draft Ormond to contact me and I'll gladly put everyone on this list!! :D You guys sure are having fun with that draft.
