Pick No. 3 - Antonio Gates.

First time I've ever taken a TE this early in a draft in ... well ... ever.

What the heck. :D

I have a feeling there isn't going to be much left at RB when it gets back to me in the fourth. That's the huge risk involved in taking a TE this early.

If Gates goes off for 90 receptions, you will be a happy camper.

Based on Greg's draft yesterday, would you be unhappy if your next 4 picks went: Beanie Wells, Hightower, Britt and Brees?

Got amazingly lucky that a RB2 was still on the board for me in the fourth. I took Ingram. Roster so far:

RB-McCoy
RB-Ingram

WR-V.Jackson

TE-Gates

Looking WR next.

My Final FFPC/FBG Draft Is Tonight

Driver wasn't a homer pick. I think he's one of the best WR values in fantasy. Still starting on a great passing offense and he's a rock-solid WR3 when healthy who I got as a WR5. LOVE the DD pick. Big fan of Moore too and Amendola looks to me like the only WR worth trusting right now in St. Louis.

As far as Peyton, I wasn't planning to take him but QBs were flying off the board in the round I got him so I decided to pull the trigger, thinking a good QB may not come back to me in the next round. As it turned out, Schaub and Roethlisberger were both there so I could've waited. But if Peyton is Peyton he'll be a steal.

The latter part of the draft pretty much went by in a blur. I was busy taking signups and monitoring drafts and just picked some players to keep things moving. I missed on Steve Smith (Phi.) real late because I totally spaced on him being available. I blame that on working to fill tomorrow's $350 league at 1 ET which I did. :D

I think this is a solid team. Very happy with my RB depth and I think my WRs are solid. If Peyton and Gates stay healthy this could be fun. We'll see.
